LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 8, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

  • Bluetooth
  • Camera
  • Sensors
  • Video Playback
  • Audio
  • GPS

Known issues:
  • mic [for incomming calls]
  • volte [common bug for All Exynos Devices]
  • you tell me!


Reporting Bugs:
Bug list + logcat


Follow Instructions Carefully otherwise you will get error :
  • Wipe cache, dalvic cache,system,data
  • Flash ROM-Flash Gapps [Arm-8.1]
  • Done-Reboot Now
  • Enjoy!

Wow guys nice work, i'm testing the ROM right now and i see some issues:

- No sound sended on incoming calls
- Flashlight on shortcut apps doesn't work (but we can use other app or widget)
- Low volume on speaker (as every LOS rom)
- Laggy

I will be testing for one day or two and i post of i find more of this.

Flashlight works
Reboot to system once to overcome lags...

Test the build #2
Issues:
- Brightness dont be fixed (onlly removed the automatic choose of brightness)
- Sometimes the touchscreen freezes on lockscreen.
- Apps Issues (Camera lag, Thirdparty apps camera cant be used with efects and aditionals, web browser freezes, youtube lag)
- Some Force Cloces (SystemUI, Config [LOS Settings], WebView)
- The no sound sended on Incoming Calls is still there (When u make a call everything works perfect, the unique problem is when u recieve a call).

Thank you so much to take the time to make this for our device, hope to get a stable rom 8.1, best regards :)
