crDroid is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device also attempting to bringing many of the best features existent today. We're mainly based on LineageOS so use custom kernels compatible with them!

Features
Click for feature list

Always Have a full functional Backup. Just in case!

Downloads:
ROM
Gapps (recommended: arm64 nano/pico)

First time installing crDroid to your Moto G5 Plus, or coming from another ROM:

** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery ( TWRP)
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up

Inbuilt Super User included for ROOT. Enable it from developers option!

Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.
You need to flash GApps every-time you flash the ROM.

Don't expect any support if you:
- are not running the included kernel
- have installed any mods such as Xposed!
- have modified system files

Thanks to:

- warabhishek
- Vitaliy Tomin
- Google
- LineageOS
- SlimRoms
- AOSPA (Paranoid Android)
- OmniRom
- NamelessROM
- Many others... (if you're feeling upset being out of the thanks list just send a PM )

Semantics.

Please provide that information when reporting an issue in the future.
Sorry for bothering u , I should have taken a SS with the included kernel. I know u work hard to develop a ROM , I'm a not a guy who nags the developers by posting some unusual stuffs. Relax and do the good work. Cheers

Here are some lovely screenshots for your viewing pleasure:

PSA: these screenshots have a substratum theme and Xposed modules applied. Your device will NOT look like this unless you tweak it yourself!

crdroid 7.1.2 is my daily driver. amazing rom.
I've installed many 8.1 roms but most builds after 15th january don't work, they always show no sim card installed. In the latest crdroid rom, the phone says only emergency calls. Bad luck? :(

@coldhans hey I really hope I don't come off as demanding or rude by asking this but I'm curious. Will this room ever pass safety net out of the box? This room is really good. Thanks for maintaining it for us!

No worries! Don't confuse my lack of emojis for irritation in these threads, I just try to keep my answers short and to the point.

crDroid comes with inbuilt root, which as far as I know can't pass SafetyNet. If you still don't pass SafetyNet after flashing the latest Magisk and/or the Universal SafetyNet fix, I can bring it up with the developers.

BT calling does not work.
Please provide a log or I can't help you.
