What's AOSP?
AOSP is Android as Google publish without other modifications. More or less AOSP is the Nexus devices stock rom without gapps.
We added few non-AOSP features for a better user experience and we NOT going to add something other.

Thanks to LineageOS for device tree, kernel and vendor (LOS 15.1).
Also thanks to all the testers who flashed initial builds and provided logs for all issues helping us to debug them!

I thank you thousand times for making PURE AOSP for us. This is all I've wished for our device. And yet better, it is Pie. What a day. I like your philosophy that you keep this clean and "non modified", and I wish it stays that way until its end. Thank you again.

FBE Encryption won't work. Better backup your stuff before flashing or wait for CAF to release :D

Any specific firmware that needs to be flashed beforehand?

5.1.4

Ok so I flashed the ROM everything seems okay (Decrypted and 5.1.4 firmware)
I only wished the option to force apps to use full screen aspect ratio was here (I don't even know if these commits are working on 9.0.0)
Good job for a first public build
EDIT : Also I noticed that the new gestures are not here but I guess it's because it's AOSP

Hi! Thanks for your work. When you say NFC is a known bug... It means that NFC doesn't work?

As far as I know you have to activate gestures in settings.

    Steps I followed.

    1. Backed up everything important to me and boot into bluspark_twrp with treble support.
    2. Format Data -> yes and then make sure MTP is enabled in TWRP and copy all the necessary files to storage or use OTG.
    3. Flashed 5.1.4 Firmware from here ( https://mega.nz/#!lbIy2abT!pqeJ5C16UqKvDhke8hn7boW_uB1QsOSIxG6_JsVC5mI ).
    4. Flashed the ROM.
    5. Flashed Gapps ( https://builds.nezorfla.me/?dir=opengapps/pie/arm64/20180820 ).
    6. Flashed 5.1.4 Firmware again just to be safe.
    7. Flashed no_verity_op5_v3_treble.zip ( https://dl.xda-developers.com/4/5/7....zip?key=j7MRHkUrbLoesREznN5Mew&ts=1535092365 ).
    8. Restart to System.
    9. Complete Setup.
    10. Reboot back to TWRP.
    11. Flashed Magisk 16.6
    12. Reboot back to System and installed Magisk Manager.

Been on this ROM for close to 12 hrs.

    Initial Impressions:

    1. The battery is good. Nothing mind-blowing.
    2. Root works.
    3. Gcam V8 works with the fixes obviously.
    4. There are animation lags here and there. Nothing game breaking as they don't occur frequently.
    5. All games and app I tried to seem to work.
    6. Music plays through headset and speakers so far without any glitches.
    7. Always on Display takes much more battery than I expected maybe because there is no deep sleep, I don't really know.
    8. Pill takes time to get used to. (my problem, not ROM's).
    9. Substratum works except while I tried to theme System UI. (again not the ROM's problem, Pie limitation).
    10. The dark theme in settings will only work if you apply a dark wallpaper.
    11. Dash Charge (Warp Charge or whatever) works and will be shown on the lock screen as "Charging Rapidly".
    12. The fingerprint sensor is as fast as OOS. Don't really care about face unlock, so can't comment on that.
    13. Boot time is really fast, like really fast.
    14. Incoming VOLTE works.
    15. Data, WI-FI, Bluetooth works. NFC turns on and off. Don't know if it actually works as I don't have the required card.
    16. Battery Standby is good.
    17. MTP works.
    18. No advanced reboot menu.

FYI, Stock Camera is not at all good, so GCAM is recommended.

So far seems to be daily driver material.

Will be on this ROM until and if OB 15 releases with something more than a security patch.
