Crash after OTA update

I've installed 16 nightly 21.03. So far everything's fine.
the next day i wanted to install update. After the restart I see the balls of lineageos about 40 times and then my Mi A1 turns off and stops with a error message .
I don't know the exact message anymore
It says try again
recovery to factory settings (or similar)

my installation:
1. boot into TWRP using "fastboot boot recovery.img"
2nd Flash the ROM.
3rd Reboot to bootloader
4. Again boot into TWRP using "fastboot boot recovery.img"
5. Flash gapps or any other zips.
6. reboot system.

the next days I repeated that. After update the system crashes and I flash again.

and i am not aware of treble and other stufs like this

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 9 (pie), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed.
