Yes , PIE is better than Battery backup in a 2015 device ?Think that our 3year old devices that stopped at android 6.0 that came till the Android pie that you must not expect the good battery backup. Go back to android 6. 0 you will get some better backup so thats why i said only to taste the pie not to care about the battery backup.

Well, obviously the camera doesn't work, at all.
For me there is. I flashed the nano version of Gapps.
Download issue seems to be because of GAPPS as reported by some users on another device. Not sure though.Well, obviously the camera doesn't work, at all.
Btw the flashlight isn't working either, another thing I noticed. This seems to be due to the camera bug itself, which exists in LineageOS 16 too. Other than the already reported bugs, everything else seems to work fine.
I'm kinda curious tho, whenever I download anything, the download progress bar seems to be missing from the notifications panel. I noticed this in LOS 16 as well. Is it a bug or is Android Pie really like this?

In playstore downloads, it does not show the *symbol/icon , but when you pull down the notification bar it shows the download progress...
And for other downloads, it shows the icon also and obviously the progress also...
(I am saying as in unofficial LOS16 both october build & November build.. i haven't installed this AEX Rom tho)

What if we Wipe the Cache from recovery while restart.. as we do for LOS16 for this bug, will it work ?

Can any one Edit the Xml file of the dailer and test the pixel SCREEN CALL feature in this Rom..?
I did it in The LOS16, but the phone app crashes after i click on the screen call option during a call..
The annoying thing is that the phone app crashes but the other party can still hear me, but in my phone it shows that there is no call going on
Oh well, it never showed for me at all (the progress bar I mean), no matter LOS or AEX. At the moment I've reverted back to XenonHD, I'll wait for a more stable version of the ROM to be released that I'll be able to use as a daily driver.Well, obviously the camera doesn't work, at all.

No wiping the cache/dalvik does not solve that issue, as the default camera app is not even installed as part of the system. I've tried using 3rd party cameras to see if this method would work but to no avail. If only this bug doesn't exist I still don't mind using this ROM at the moment, what a bummer
