ABOUT US
AOSP Extended is an AOSP based ROM which provides stock UI/UX with various customizations features along with the Substratum theme engine. The project has been made by cherry-picking various commits from various other projects. Being based on AOSP it provides a smooth and lag-free experience out of the box. Guys, sorry for the noob question.. but after flashed the ROM, the phone is trying to start, even the google logo loads, but a message showing "To start Android, type your password" appears and even if typing it correctly, a message saying "decryption failure" shows, saying to reset the phone. Any idea how to fix it?

Yes, i followed the instructions to flash the rom.. and i came from PE rom.

2.finger print sensor gets disabled and finger prints removed after restart
if it helps.. after the first restart i added a fingerprint and it accepted it and worked.. the second restart i got this screenshot

the first install i added the whole 5 prints after the first restart i got the screenshot
3.in AEX oreo there is so much rom customizations compared to the thin list in here .. is it due the fact that pie is still in it's infancy or you opt-ed out for stability reasons?

U didnt get It bro.. i cant even access the rom, all i can do on that screen is holding Power Button to switch off/Reboot to recovery or clicking on that message to factory reset the phone, but doing this keeps showing the same message after rebooting/reseting the phone

Yes, i followed the instructions to flash the rom.. and i came from PE rom.

You need to format the data partition. FORMAT, NOT WIPE. THIS WILL ALSO FORMAT YOUR INTERNAL STORAGE SO BACKUP YOUR INTERNAL STORAGE ON A COMPUTER AND THEN PROCEED.
1. Click on format data. Swipe to confirm(Might ask you to type yes to confirm).
2. Reboot to recovery.
3. Connect phone to computer and copy the rom, kernel, gapps, Magisk,etc. whatever you need to flash and Reboot. Worked for me.

Yeap, I think this is the sources related issues too. In other's ROMs (Mokee and Bliss) all have this problem.

U have to format data to do that boot to twrp again select wipe select format data and type yes over there and reboot!!
