Just installed it and everything seems to be working, except connecting it to my computer via USB.

I can access it via ADB, but I can't see it on Windows Explorer.

Windows reports that the driver isn't working correctly. I've tried reinstalling, and it doesn't help.

Any ideas?

Did you try manually choosing the MTB USB device driver? I have to do this. Then windows detects as AXON 7

My favorite Bluetooth earpiece on stock varied volume separately from the phone. But now the volumes are linked. Does anyone know how to change this please?

Edit: this setting is called absolute volume and it's in developer options

I did and it didn't work.

Strangely, when I added the pixelarity module for Magisk, it seems to fixed the problem. Windows sees it (although it thinks it's a Pixel).


Does anybody know if the full disk encryption is working?

After unlocking the bootloader you should create a vendor partition on your device. It is required for this rom.

Automatic Power On/Off

This is the only feature I miss from the stock ROM that hasn't been included. Has anyone figured out how to get it on crDroid? I can implement the automatic shutdown with a few automation apps/modules but nothing I've found can replicate the automated boot at a specific time.

I don't believe this feature exists on any custom ROM.
You can probably set up Tasker to do this, but if you want it integrated into the system, only the stock rom can give you that functionality.

Anyone else have the problem of the phone booting up when its turned off and put on the charger?

Turns out it is the remove the bootloader warning mod that is causing this behaviour. The one that turns the ZTE green from stock bluw.

I am facing exact the same issue.

I had to revert to Lineage 15.1 for hidden ssid wifi to work, seems all the custom roms after it give me the issue. I will wait for Lineage 17.1 to mature since this phone is now a backup since I upgraded to the s20+ for 5g.

I have two little annoyances I would like to fix, maybe somebody else has encountered these?
Almost every time I leave the phone on charge overnight, it's frozen in the morning, red charging light stays on even when it's unplugged. I have to hard-reset.

Other one is, often, launching some from a notification (happened w/google photos this morning) launches a black screen. I can task-switch and it shows the window title but inside is all black. If I then go and launch google photos from the app drawer, it still comes up blank black. I have to kill the app then launch again.
Any suggestions?

to connect the hidden wifi network you have to allow this in the settings: Add network - Advanced options - Hidden network - "Yes"

Did you remove the vertical recents style in this build? Or maybe it bugged?
I've flashed it twice yesterday for some audio tests and once cleanly today and noticed it's missing. Swapping between Quickstep and AOSP( rebooting afterwards ofc) in crDroid's settings does basically nothing, it defaults to the AOSP style I guess.

there is no bug with Quick Step recents on 20200617 build. It is working for me and it is switchable to AOSP style in crDroid settings
