Has anyone been able to get encryption working? I can't decrypt in TWRP. I have Oki's B12 version of TWRP and I still can't decrypt my storage :/

Did you try to flash the dm verity zip? Flash it and flash magisk if you're using it. On reboot you should see your phone as decrypted.

The problem is that I need encryption for my job. Without it we can't check out schedules or request time off :/

Nope. Its flashing recents - home - back, like it is already in standard.
I want back - home - recents and the aroma installer doesnt work to choose an option.

EDIT: Is this for the soft-buttons, the navbar on the display? I extra said that i mean the hardware buttons. there is a hardware navbar under the diplay.

I used twrp to install.

i already replaced the files in the zip, to be sure it will install only one setting, because the aroma install doesnt give me an option.
So i think its only for the onscreen navbar. i wrote hardware-buttons to make sure, that i dont mean the onscreen-buttons.

Make sure you mount Vendor partition before you flash it.

Just installed this ROM, it's amazing! I was a fan of stock ROM (MiFavor UI), I liked it's interface, but crDroid offers so much customizability, it's insane! Finally I can modify screen values with inbuilt KCAL support as I like, screen was too much saturated or too washed out on stock ROM with any preset. Fingerprint scanner is faster on stock ROM tho.

Hi, I can't seem to change the recent styles or there isn't a difference between ASOP and quickstep. Also, the swipe-up gesture doesn't seem to work for me as well. I am a little new to this stuff so I'm not sure if I did something wrong... any help would be appreciated. Aside from those 2 issues, I think everything else is working.

You may have to make a backup then - in TWRP - format your DATA partition to a different filesystem temporarily, then flash back. This should resolve the encryption issue when simply formatting the partition does not.

Hey @raystef66 can you include updated OpenGL & Vulkan drivers in your next build, as you know, default versions are v313 OpenGL & 1.1.66 for Vulkan. Well i flashed updated OpenGL & Vulkan drivers & it works great. Versions are v401 OpenGL & 1.1.87 Vulkan. There is a newer version of OpenGL v415, i tried it but it breaks camera, other phones like LG V20 have this problem as well. I did not measured benchmarks yet but i didn't noticed the difference in gaming performance (PUBG). It maybe makes some difference who knows. I also tried to place files without wiping system, vendor, cache, Dalvik cache & data but when it booted to system all i got was black screen. So if you are willing to try this you have to reinstall ROM.

Hy, i had problems to update the new version with securtiy patch from march. when dirty updating my A2017G, twrp (ol labs version) says something like this:" assert failed axon7.verify.trustzone "TZ.BF.4.0.1-00353" ...
so i unzipped the file and edited the installer script. You will find it in \META-INF\com\google\android\updater-script. Look after "assert(axon7.verify_trustzone("TZ.BF.4.0.1-00353") == "1");" and change the "1" at the end to "0" (=zero) and save the zip. So i could install the new version of crdroid...

Hello, I'm having an issue with the Alarm Icon on the status bar while also having traffic monitor ON, when the traffic monitor appears (there's data transfer) the alarm icon gets pushed to the left and both icons vanish, this reproduces sometimes on home and while in apps, but while on lockscreen it happens all the time.

NOTE : still for some reason (even on a clean build with no mods) homescreen apps can being modified after dirty flash like mentioned above by some users. You can dirty flash tho but you'll have to re-arrange your apps on homescreen.

Coming straight from LineageOS 16 after a full wipe and glad to get a relieved phone with the latest crDorid 5.12 build, but got one problem.
The GPS fix seems to work just fine, but I think with deativated display it pauses. I do alot of hiking and other outdoor sports und like to track these with apps like Komoot. Saves much battery turning off the display.
I know that crDroid has options to deactivate GPS and mobile data when turning of the display. This option is deativated for sure. I didn't see other related options till now.

Is there anyone else facing this issue? Is there a wordaround or solution available?

Anyone else getting an error 7 after a dirty flash and then stuck in boot? I am coming from the Feb. patch with Open Gapps arm64 20200325. Dirty flashing back to the Feb. patch fixes this. I figure it is an issue with Gapps like some other users had prior so I may try to flash some older version of Gapps.
