Installation Instructions:
  • Grab our recovery from the peripherals section and install it.
    Through TWRP Recovery:
Install Zip > Install Image > Choose ‘recovery.img‘ > Select partition ‘Recovery’ > Swipe to confirm flash
    Through Fastboot:
    Code:
    fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
  • Install the ROM and then wipe your internal data partition.
    Through TWRP Recovery:
    Wipe > Format data
    Through Fastboot:
    Code:
    fastboot -w
  • Reboot into system and wait until the process finishes, it could take a little bit. After the installation is done, I suggest waiting before using the phone because it usually goes into thermal throttling after installing a ROM.

Have you verified this boots on FDE? Every other rom he puts out has been FBE, and it says in the OP about formating your data.
Its pretty confusing. In the OP it says nothing about formatting data and in fact says just to wipe /system/data/dalvik/cache. Yet in Post #2 it talks about formatting data and grabbing "our TWRP" (presumably the FBE TWRP) in the peripherals sections but there is no link to it anywhere as far as I can see.

For what its worth, he said its FDE in the Telegram group.

Yeah, I think it just looks odd because he might have just used the same OP template, but didn't change it to edit out the recovery portion.

Thanks for confirming it is fde though. I'll def give it a shot once I'm off work tomorrow morning. Been wanting to try one of his builds for a while now.
For some more context, I am still transitioning over to FBE due to some source replacement I had to do.
Sorry for not making it clear, however the next official build is guaranteed to act as a FBE build. :fingers-crossed:

Just recently, our beloved Nexus 6P has been added to the official list of the SuperiorOS ROM.
New builds, entering via OTA and Sourceforge will include the most out of the SuperiorOS ROM, so take this functionality to its fullest.
Glad to see it added to the official list. Is using the FBE recovery and formatting /data, etc. required for the official build? And if not, is a clean flash required going from the last unofficial build to the new official build (different signing keys?)?

I flashed today and had to fully wipe the phone. Otherwise it wont boot.
