Yeah, mine was on a clean flash on both FDE and FBE builds. Initial app installs and updates since. Not all the time but quite frequently. Most of the time it soft reboots. Haven't experienced it on any other rom either (haven't tried PixysOS). Very strange...
Well you got lucky then because when I try it will soft reboot after every three or four apps lol

Just tried to update 2 apps (Linear Substratum and SD Maid) and had a soft reboot while it was downloading/installing Linear. Here is the log. If you could take a look @PixelBoot . Thanks.

EDIT: I am using this same rom on another Angler with same setup and just tried to update those 2 apps on that phone. This time I updated SD Maid 1st and there was no problem. But when I updated Linear Substratum I got a soft reboot. I have noticed in the past (although can't be 100% certain) that when updating Substratum apps I get soft reboots. I'm wondering if there is a connection. Something to think about.

I also have the same black screen after boot on today's build. I didn't seem to have a keyboard or navbar/buttons. Touch seemed to work fine, but once the screen timed out all I seen was the notification led. I have all 8 functional cores and flashed only the fbe twrp, rom and mini gapps followed by wipe. That's about all the info I can think of at the moment. Hope it helps.

Could somebody help me, i can't get any 9.0 ROM to boot in my Nexus 6P, i have tried the FBE and FDE Recoveries and still can't get it to boot.
I really want to test 9.0 Roms but i stuck on Lineage 15.1 for now

1- while Installing Gapps it did not install 9. arm64, it installed arm8.1, I know my system is arm64 , anyone help me , what am I doing wrong ?
2- first it went into a boot loop then I went again to Twrp and did a format data , it went to black screen , I forced rebooted by holding power it starts but again only black screen again what did i do wrong ?

    Angler got Superior

Just recently, our beloved Nexus 6P has been added to the official list of the SuperiorOS ROM.
New builds, entering via OTA and Sourceforge will include the most out of the SuperiorOS ROM, so take this functionality to its fullest.
    5
    Installation Instructions:
    • Grab our recovery from the peripherals section and install it.
      Through TWRP Recovery:
Install Zip > Install Image > Choose ‘recovery.img‘ > Select partition ‘Recovery’ > Swipe to confirm flash
      Through Fastboot:
      Code:
      fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
    • Install the ROM and then wipe your internal data partition.
      Through TWRP Recovery:
      Wipe > Format data
      Through Fastboot:
      Code:
      fastboot -w
    • Reboot into system and wait until the process finishes, it could take a little bit. After the installation is done, I suggest waiting before using the phone because it usually goes into thermal throttling after installing a ROM.
