Firmware isn't a rom, and yes firts the firmware and after this or another rom.

Well, the Rom is really fast, and promising, but at the moment it's not usable, as the microphone and the speaker are not working.

Don't flash latest build but the one with gapps included. It's amazing and I'm using it as my daily driver since 1 week
