Unfortunately, Luk1337 has rebased his repo for EMUI 9 vendor and now I have lost the NFC config, so I have to extract them asap when I'm on Windows with the update extractor.
Also, those builds will be seperately maintained and not be officially available on the PixelExperience website.
Changelogs are now available on the PixelExperience download website
Please forgive me but is it just the GitHub or is there an official changelog?
Do you mean extract from the update.app? I use a perl script for that. Works in Linux/Mac. In Mac OS, it doesn't check the CRC, but it works anyway

You go to the download website, select the file you want to download and you will see the changelog.
Same thing here with the BKL-L09, bootlooping
(Flash did not show any error)
If you are on EMUI 9 then it won't boot, I recommend you downgrade to EMUI 8 or wait until the BKL-L04 gets EMUI 9, so I can move my development towards new vendor.

Encryption disabled and wiped all partitions in the right order? Have you flashed any additional zip?
If by Encryption disabled it's the Format Data from twrp yes, otherwise I might have missed this. Did not flash anything else.
Except the NFC I do not see any other problems. The battery is not as good as on Stock Firmware but not that bad also.
Remove the NFC APK from /system/app . Battery life is great after that

IMPORTANT!
Before you start flashing, make sure you are using a version of TWRP with encryption disabled, otherwise you might end up using eRecovery to rescue your device from a bootloop!
You can also use official TWRP, but it will only work until you have not flashed the ROM!

Flashing instructions from stock EMUI
- Make sure you have TWRP installed and working!!
- Reboot phone into recovery mode
- Go to "Wipe" and select "Format data", then confirm with yes (some devices might require to disable encryption, see post #54)
- Then go to "Advanced" and select /system, /data, /cache and Dalvik-cache for wipe
- Copy ROM zip over to your phone (use whatever works for you, I personally use adb push)
- Go to "Install" and select the ROM zip (and Magisk if you want), swipe to flash
- Done! You can now reboot to system.
Update instructions
Simply go to TWRP and wipe /system, /cache and Dalvik-cache, then flash the update ROM zip and all additional stuff you need.
I also recommend having a backup of boot ramdisk to install Magisk again on a stock boot ramdisk.

Cool, but what's next?
Right now I am quite busy preparing for test final exams, but I do some stuff in the background to get some hardware features implemented, like glove mode or display color modes from EMUI.
However, in the meantime, my Google Cloud trial has run out of credit, so I was working on a docker solution to make those builds possible at home on my Hackintosh.
The result looks pretty nice and while the first build took ~6 hours to complete, I think this will keep my development for this device alive.

I installed this ROM on my P20Pro, with base 8.1. So, I was on stock EMUI 8.1 and flashed PixelExperience 9.0. (It actually does not work if you are on EMUI 9.0)
