I was using crDroid 8.1 for at least one year and am using 9.0 now. I never had this problem one single time. Sure this is not a hardware issue?
i am sure that it is not hw issue btw my phone is clone of swift ithink that it might be the reason of the problem for now i turned of the double tap to wake if its gonna solve it than i wont use that feature.

I think it's kernel issue, because while flashing Foxy, I get some notification regarding touch.

But hey..we should report bugs if we come across, but let's try to understand the ROM is in Beta..Give it time to mature, Im sure @beroid is working on it

I had similar issue once from crdroid oreo. But it was very rare it happens only if lots of open apps running in the background. So far no similar issues for me. The best thing about this rom is I dont have to hibernate apps using greenify while running multiple apps. My guess is this rom and pie in general has the best ram management so far imo

Decided to give this a try but hit a few problems. Seems to be really fast and moving from Cyanogen things have certainly improved.

The main two problems are I can't get Magisk to work, I install the 17.2 zip in TWRP but it doesn't seem to do anything - should a new app appear to configure Magisk or do I need to do something else after the 17.2 install to be able to configure it?

The other main problem is I can't get media playback to work. I open the built in media player and play but no audio is played even at full volume. Is there a workaround that can help?

Thanks

The media player issue was mentioned earlier. For Magisk you need to install the Magisk Manager apk.

Great I will definitely give this another try if the music playback glitches can be sorted. For some reason I thought the manager was installed with Magisk sorry!

I am used to long pressing back to force quit the active app and it automatically pressing OK after entering a pass code pin can these options be replicated somehow?

Also as a pure newbie question I just couldn't remove that search widget off the home screen I assume I was just having a moment and couldn't find where to pick it up.

I'd love to try this latest version but I can't download it. I have great difficulty with androidfilehost. It takes forever and usually fails. It's the only download site that I have problems with. I'm not even getting the Netherlands mirror (closest to me, that I usually get) which usually eases the problems a little.

Hi
Same problem on my side. Only 1 mirror in California with very poor connection.
I'll try with a download manager.
I've just tried again. Now I get "OOPS - no mirrors found". So i'm not even getting California.
Not particularly user-friendly!
Here you go bud https://goo.gl/fdDnvv

Says zip file corrupt on latest TWRP,
Going to wait patiently for stable release
Always verify the hash. Make it a habit to ensure it wasnt a bad download

If it fails again try updating twrp from

any fix about touchscreen?
The 2nd generation Android One g1 has a very sensitive touchscreen. That was probably the reason you are experiencing this issue. In my case I was able to find a descent tempered glass to resolve it.

Managed to download pretty quickly this morning. Androidfilehost offering a different mirror.
Tried rom and everything was OK (apart from the navigation bar buttons - wrong way round) until I rooted it with Magisk then it kept crashing on opening rootable apps.

Latest update is almost perfect as a daily driver. Audio was fixed as well.

Some issues on my part from the latest update 10-19-18

1) When switching Camera storage from phone to sdcard, the data was move to /sdcard/Android/data/org.lineageos.snap/files rather than /sdcard/DCIM/Camera
2) Gallery app does not show /Sdcard/DCIM/Camera
3) Music player playlist does not include all audio files from phone and sdcard storage. Most of them are from phone storage only

Never had this issues from previous build. Anyone has advice on how to resolve this? Did a clean install. Perhaps its a permission issues or something

Update*
Changed folder permission. Cleared gallery, music and media storage data and reboot still same issue. Rename DCIM and mp3 folders and boom!! All images and audio files showed up. The above issues were probably not a rom specific issues. Its either sdcard or im a noob
