Is this ROM dead? There hasn't been any update in almost 2 months.

---------- Post added at 04:32 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:30 PM ----------

So it's not just me. Which version are you having this issue on?

Is this rom dead?

No it is not dead, developer is just taking his time building stable Q build. U can wait or try other roms until new build comes out. And stop posting unnecessary stuffs....

Hey guys, I know the devs work android 10.

But maybe someone has an idea how to make DT2W usable?

I've even tested the azure kernel now (runs super by the way) but no one works double tab 2wake... the other way around it works.

Has anyone solved that?

:( Its my favourite custom rom, but after seeing no development for many weeks.. I went back to MIUI.. can't wait for its 3.0 version.. just wanted to know how much time it'll take??
If You hurry the rom will be full of bugs.
Just hope the dev might take a little more time but provide us with a stable rom.

There's one major drawback in this rom.
It doesn't offer option to turn of Sim if we just want to disable one of the dual sims.

enable-disable-sim-cards.jpg

Stock rom and other rom offers such option in Settings.

Is there any app which can help here?

Wow. This is THE best ROM out there for my Redmi Note 7 Pro. Tried PixelExperience but this is much faster and hell a lot of customizations. I wanted to use Resurrection Remix. But not going to, will use Havoc itself. Too much satisfied.. Keep up the good work Guys.. think you guys are working too much to deliver such a build for each device.. Though I found this one bug.
1. When using full gestures control (without Navigation buttons ). When I open the camera directly from lockscreen's bottom shortcut, I am unable to come out of the camera. Fingerprint/swiping home also doesn't take me out of camera. It's like running in a loop if I try to go out of camera. Only option is to reboot system by pressing power button.

Workaround for the bug - From Havoc settings removed the option to use camera directly from lockscreen.

Device - Redmi Note 7 Pro (violet)
ROM - Havoc 2.9

There's another workaround, Turn off display with lock button, Unlock it while it's off with your fingerprint and just swipe up from middle (or press home) to get out of it.

Sorry that i didn't write all the things i tried when i faced this issue. But I already tried what you said so many times. Never worked out that day. But for some weird reason, now when i tried its working.(locked+fingerprint >swipe up).i will enable the shortcuts and update this thread if i faced that issue again... Thanks for your help. Issue solved..:cowboy:

Does anyones proximity sensor work during calls?

Mine isn't turning the screen off.

In the last 2 versions, none of the sensors are working.

---------- Post added at 03:29 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:28 PM ----------

Suddenly facing issue with double tap to sleep or wake.
Phone keeps draining battery and display is warm all times.

Whats the work around?
Go back to v2.7, the last 2 versions are faulty, none of the sensors are working.

That's your fault. Not Havoc. I used 2.8 and 2.9 and my sensors perfectly work

Funny how that works. Several people including me have posted about the sensors not working, and no one bats an eye, the moment I blame the ROM, you lose your mind. Why not go back up the thread and answer individual people who are facing issues with sensors not working and offer a solution?

Agreed!
When I first flashed this rom, it worked bliss with zero issues.

Later on whenever I flash it, all sensors are lost and I have flash some other rom and back to havoc before the sensors begin to work.

Worse is the gps doesn't at all detect my location while other sensors keep working.

And now I'm facing a very critical severe issue of battery drain and phone warmup.

I'm moving back to stock miui rom to troubleshoot and if the stock rom works perfect it surely means somethings truly messy with this awesome rom. The author is also dumb who doesn't care tor respond at all. He just takes his own time to update turning a blind ear to all queries here..

No he is not dumb, u are.
Last build was working perfectly for me. Except smart charging, last build is good. It depends on how u flash/dirty flash.

And he does reads queries..
Latest 10 builds have some issues and not booting. U can check here for the RESPONSE u want. Just dont unnecessarily tag developer

Mr DUMB do read properly you drunk piece. I did say initially it worked just perfect.
Later on it started giving issues.

And just don't post outside links here. If he responds only on telegram etc he should be very specific so that people wont waste their valuable time waiting for his response here.

And I didn't had any issues like boot loops or smart charging like you facing.

Here everybody is facing some common issues.

So if you feel you are just greatest among all go on kid nobody is listening to you.

If it worked properly initially and later starts giving problem then something is wrong in your side, not the rom side. I maybe dumb but not more than you.
I posted the link because u were calling the developer dumb to not respond to you or thread, WHY DONT U BUILD YOUR OWN ROM SMARTYPANTS??
I never said i was facing bootloops, so now who is drunk reading??
Well this kid does his own homework before flashing/updating roms. Preety much u should start doing so.

There are many factors that can be issue like encryption, downgrading rom/firmware, flashing steps, etc. And bugs are to be reported with logs and/or steps to reproduce. Developer already marked the last pie build final so no more support on that. U can use other roms for time being.
Peace.

So guys, I've marked the latest build as final. I've moved to building Q now. Will try to release it soon!
    8
New build is out! September patch has been merged. All previous device related bugs like encryption issue, dirac fc have been fixed now. For full changelog, refer to post #2. OTA pushed for existing users. New users can checkout new build from OP.
    6
    Thread cleaned!

Demanding for updates, a self-entitled attitude, and rude language will not be allowed here and will not take you anywhere.

Again dear members don't answer to offensive posts. It just makes the situation worse. It doesn't cost you anything to ignore a post and just report it to the moderators.

Kindly move on and do not engage in useless discussions. All you do is just clutter the thread and the end result is trashed posts. So you just waste your time with such replies.

Those who insists with this attitude will be dealt with not very nicely.

So please, I suggest you to carry on with your life and do something more creative than venting your frustration virtually to people you don't even know. You are just yelling to a nickname inside a small box!

    Which is smarter?
