DON'T FLASH GAPPS, ALREADY INCLUDED

First of all you need to flash the twrp. You can also use recovery of your choice
Flash vbmeta by fastboot (fastboot --disable-verity flash vbmeta vbmeta.img)
Boot into twrp and Format data and wipe system/data/cache/dalvik.
Flash the rom zip
Flash Magisk
Reboot to System.
For every upgrade you dont need to format your device. Keep the screenlock of previous rom and flash
the new rom and use the old password on startup screen to decrypt. Kindly use the old password as your new password in your
updated rom. Vbmeta is only needed to be flashed once you come from miui rom.

I am in love with this rom. It's so smooth and battery is so awesome with stock kernel. Full of usefull customisations and looks gorgeous.

did you install vbmeta? and magisk?

I also did a clean flash this way, wipe data / yes, reboot into twrp
wipe everything except extSD card
flash vbmeta
flash firmware vendor
flash ROM
Flash magisk
reboot

it worked for me this way. :good:

I carry out the cleaning of everything. All partitions.
Then I installed only the ROM and root magisk. and won an infinite loop for toast.

I just got it. when I installed the lineageos and did a dirty flash.
*This is so much error all the time. Fc

First of all: Wonderful Rom! Thanks a lot.

For those interested, i installed this rom following this procedure:

1. WIPE PARTITIONS & Format DATA
2. Flash Stable (Global) MIUI 10.3.5 (Do NOT FORGET to REMOVE "Compatibility.zip" from MIUI ZIP)
3. Perform a *FACTORY RESET*
4. Flash ROM & MAGISK
5. Flash VBMETA.IMG

So can I do this?
install the official rom
unlock and install twrp
pass the vbmeta and perform the wipe system / data / cache / dalvik
Then install rom and root?

I'm getting "There's an internal error with your device. Contact your manufacturer for details" at boot. Seems to be working anyway after tapping ok on the dialogue.

First unlock bootloader and flash recovery then follow what i have written in the previous post :)

(Format / Wipe -> Official MIUI -> Factory Reset -> ROM -> Magisk) ^^

    Clean Flash is recommended for this build. After this build you can dirty flash always unless specified.

    To use powersuspend use mtweaks app from GitHub , go to misc settings and chose powersuspend as userspace and enbake powersuspend state option. Use blu_schedutil or alucard governor for better battery and nightmare and darkness for performance

    I have officially dropped the support for official pixel experience and evolution x as I no longer have the device. I hope someone else will continue the projects. Thanks for the support.
