Each series of phones has a specific codename to distinguish between others. 'lavender' is codename for variants of the Redmi Note 7 and RN 7s series while 'violet' is of RN 7 Pro.

When a developer makes ROMs or mods for 'lavender', they are ONLY compatible with phones in this series. You don't want to flash a ROM made for 'violet' on a 'lavender' since that would f*ck up your phone.

So if your phone codename is 'lavender', flash ROMs and mods for 'lavender' ONLY.

my redmi note 7 model number is: M1901F7G
but i'm not sure if its lavender.

If your device is Redmi Note 7, it's automatically lavender, no matter what model you have.
