[ROM][9.0][ LineageOS 16.0 For MediaPad M3 Lite 8/10 ]

Some apps could not run after I flash this ROM on my Lite 10 BAH-W09, the apps will crash soon when they appeared. But this was not happened on stock ROM.
Installed apps: Magisk, XDA Labs, APKPure, Firefox, Mixplorer, IceBox, Shadowsocks, Clash for Android, MXPlayer, Tachiyomi.
Crashed apps: Xodo PDF Reader, Greenify.
I have not installed Gapps.
And there is another issue, when reboot, the time will reset to 11:00 2019-11-7. Although I have set time manually, and the battary is full.

What I can do for fixing these issues?

Please, can you try a clean flash and check if you still have the same issues ? The time shouldn't reset as your device is connected to WiFi.

Anyway if you still have issues you can switch to LOS 17.0 Android 10, because this rom will not receive any updated.

Hi, I didn't see an appropriate thread for my question so chose one with high activity. I bought a bricked M3 real cheap and it was sold as BTV-W09. When opening tablet I found board ID to be SH1BTVDL09M VER.A RF HF. Did Huawei use parts interchangeable between the two or did I not buy W09 but DL09 instead ? Can confirm no mic on charger port board for LTE. How to determine which device it really is ? Also, would anybody happen to know location of test point ? I've looked what seems like everywhere and have not found anything. I have a SigmaKey but it does no good if I can't connect. Any help would be great and greatly appreciated. Thanks

M3 lite 10 is not booting into TWRP ...

Hey,

I really spend quite a lot hours to get the twrp and the Lineage 17 OS installed but something is wrong and everything I read does not solve my problem. Can some one my help ?
What have I done:
Downloaded all recommeded files and software
1. unlock the Tab (Phone and FRP unlocked on Fast Boot Screen)
2.installed HISuite on PC
3. installed ADB driver
4. started CMD in Admin Mode and installed TWRP ( recommeded Version 3.3.1.-1)
5. rebooting of Tab always end in Huawei Bootloader ... AND from there into TWRP bit there is no menu. Only the start screen of TWRP .... and than nothing happen from this point on ...


Any Idea ? or information needed ?

Please read again carefully the info into TWRP 3.3.1-0 !

Your device it's on stock Huawei Android N, so you can't use TWRP 3.3.1-1 nor TWRP 3.3.1-0 !

Edit:

I guess you got it : just install 3.2.0 format data into TWRP and install first Los 16.0, from here you can update twrp and also the Rom !

Just installed TWRP 3.2, Lineage OS 16 and GApps. System boots but hangs in the beginning where the circle goes from right to left. Is this a known issue?

UPDATE: I was a bit impatient. After a couple of minutes system showed me the welcome screen. Sorry for posting too early.

It doesn't matter which version you use as long as it's based on Android Pie/ LOS 16.0 !

You need to follow the installation instructions from TWRP and Lineage OS carefully and you will certainly not encounter any issues.

Yes, you can't save pictures. But often camera works in apps to get QR codes. I'm using it with banking app and SecScanQR app or with Signal for desktop. The only problem is, its working in "slow motion ". You wait ...and wait and suddenly the scan is taken. And than you wait again before you get the result.
For me its Ok because i don't need it daily. I have a Mediapad with BAH-L09.

If you read these threads about and for this device you will see it's history. He put in a metric buttload of work. I'm not looking at version number right now but Huawei dropped it at nougat. You can get nougat kernel source on line but then you would need thousands of hours to bring it to where it is. Go back and look at all of his posts for this device, the number of patches and commits is insane.

try it by booting from the recovery partition instead of booting the image on your PC. if you've already flashed it there is no point in just booting the image. We use the fastboot boot command to prevent altering device partitions, obtaining backup and for testing. I've not tried it but don't think you can install zips that will alter the device when booted to an external recovery.img even if it's the same as the one on the device. Try rebooting recovery and see what you get.
