I have this issue.
Upon bootup, the finger printer does not work, password has to be entered by swiping the screen. Sometimes, the device hangs. Once the phone starts and then the error pops up. After some time the screen becomes blue and again the phone asks for password. This time the fingerprinter works and the device starts. But, the volte does not function until the phone is put in airplane mode and again switched back online.
I have clean flashed OS by formatting data and internal storage also.

On boot, fp unlocked is disabled by Android for security purposes.
I'm not getting the system FC you're talking about, give logs.
VoLTE is working totally fine for me.

You just need to flash the stock recovery once.. and wipe data with stock recovery... And then flash your twrp and you are good to go!! Thanks

wiping the data/factory reset will give you a bootloop. Format data where you will type YES to confirm, then flash the rom and Gapps,then flash magisk if u want root

After you're back to twrp, reflash the rom and reboot.

Flash the rom and Magisk 17.1.
If that doesn't work, go back to stock and re-do the custom process.

Dont Update to the latest update 22/10/2018 as it is bugged and phone shuts down in less than a minute after bootup along with endless (Phone) crashes and undetectable sim card....if you did you just need to dirty flash an older build and wipe cache and dalvik....no need to format data or wipe....i restored to the first build of this rom when it was unofficial and currently downloading the second Official release as it is the most stable one so far....Be careful Guys!

The updated ROM is lighter to use and also the SIM card change prompt at every start-up is now fixed. Thank you for the fix

What stock recovery? Oreo stock recovery or factory stock?
