Hi all, I've flashed the latest crDroid yesterday, the ROM is fantastic, but I noticed that the GPS was very strange, a lot of satellites had strange values and they couldn't be used. However I have found a fix online, a flashable zip file created specifically for crDroid on lavender, that fixes this problem. I have tried it and it works perfectly, now all the satellites have the rights values and I can finally use the GPS normally. It seems that the guy took the libraries from the RR ROM and created a zip that install those files in /vendor for the crDroid. @letsmakecakes maybe you can insert those libraries directly in the ROM starting from the next build, I can send you the zip file (I don't know if I'm allowed to post it here)![]()
I found out that my dmesg.log has thousands of lines like the following:
Code:[ 8017.648554] init: starting service 'dpmd'... [ 8017.652574] init: Created socket '/dev/socket/dpmd', mode 660, user 0, group 1000 [ 8017.653350] init: Created socket '/dev/socket/tcm', mode 660, user 0, group 3003 [ 8017.653941] init: Created socket '/dev/socket/dpmwrapper', mode 660, user 0, group 3003 [ 8017.667049] init: Service 'dpmd' (pid 12271) exited with status 1 [ 8017.667089] init: Sending signal 9 to service 'dpmd' (pid 12271) process group...
I don't know what dpmd is, but it shouldn't be starting and dying all the time, right? Any ideas? I have the latest build with magisk installed.
Thanks!
Very satisfied with this rom installed for 2 days, thank you développer.
Bug? By clicking in the settings on the tile "circular pie menu", the screen became completely black.
Restart did not change anything.
I was forced to format the data and the system and then reinstall crdroid.
Has anyone had this problem?
I think lots of people here would be happy to have the zip posted, or at least a link...
Thanks !
Tried to reset your provider's APN settings or manually editing them ?I4ve got a very annoying and strange issue. I'm in France, using Bouygtel. One day, when I switched Wifi off, the phone didn't connect to 4G. I checked everything, wondered if I've installed some vicious app and so. Finally, I reflashed the ROM afeter a full wipe, including data. Nothing changed ! I tried with another mobile provider (Sosh ie Orange) and suddenly 4G was back. Any idea where it could come from? I'm desperate.
I hqve to say my current provider includes 4G, of course.
Can't you toggle that from the developer settings?
This also happened to me in Magisk version 19.3. I am now using version 19.4 and so far I have no problem uninstalling. After flashing the September version, every few days, Magisk gets "uninstalled" for some reason. It just stops working out of the blue, and when I start the Manager it shows that Magisk is not installed. I have to go to recovery and flash the zip again, then it's fine for a day or two, then it breaks again. How is this even possible and how can I fix this?
