Floko-v2.0-clover-20190416_014344-OFFICIAL is up.

basic update summary (I'll write changelog in post #2):
- April security patches
- kernel 4.4.178
- use Snap as default camera
Thanks for new build.
Dirty flashed at 02_18+mini gapps+magisk 18.1.

Before flashing I had little problems with twrp's backup. It cannot create normal backup of vendor partition but can do it as image.

known issue: Clock is missing in lockscreen at first time (default value is "disable"?)

Hello, I have successfully flashed this version over your first official Floko release.

However, remember that problem I've reported that if you lock the device in the landscape, it starts in the portrait after reboot? It's even worse in this version -- if I lock the device in landscape, after the screen times out or you switch the screen off with the short tap of power button, the device is returned to locked portrait mode when waking up.

Any chance you can have it fixed some time soon?

TL;DR
I think this problem is (related|due) to AOSP side, I won't be able to fix it.

What's happened?
This problem is confirmed with these devices:
  • FlokoROM on my Mi Pad 4
  • FlokoROM on my OnePlus 6
  • LineageOS on my OnePlus 5
  • ...and someone reports me "reproduced with Pixel 3 (Stock)".

How to reproduce (easy guide for other users)
  1. Enable "Auto-rotate" (use QS tile is easy)
  2. Rotate your screen to Landscape mode
  3. Disable "Auto-rotate" (your screen is locked in landscape mode now, right?)
  4. Turn OFF your device's screen
  5. Turn ON your device's screen
  6. You'll see Lockscreen with Portrait mode. boom

Help us
If you (note: not only stangri but also who read this) know Pie-based ROM that have fixed already, please tell me. I gave up

Thanks for your prompt reply. In the first iteration of Floko rom for Mi Pad 4 this bug wasn't present. Orientation change would survive screen off/on.

I would also welcome feedback from anyone else who used other Pie roms on Mi Pad 4. I'm torn, I can either go back to the original Floko or try other roms. Floko is a very clean and nice rom, I'd love to stay on it, sadly this bug is a big deal for me.

Best and Most stable Rom

I am glad I gave this rom a shot after trying different Roms. It is presently the best and most stable rom for MiPad 4Plus, in my opinion. Everything just works ans will be keeping it going forward.

Thanks Dev

Does anyone know if this rom has SELinuxEnforcing and passes safetynet check out of the box for downloading netflix and other apps from playstore. Or do I have to install magisk to pass the safetynet check ? Thanks.

Is there Gesture Navigation like MIUI (Swipe from edge) in This ROM ?
I saw carbon gesture in feature section. Is that the same as MIUI Gesture ?
No. there is no "swipe from edge" gesture.

"Carbon gestures" provide multi-fingers gestures navigation.
e.g. If you swipe up with 3 fingers, show "Recents"

"Swipe-up gestures" provide OnePlus-like (and similar to MIUI) bottom gesture navigation.
e.g. Swipe up left or right side on bottom of the screen is "back" key
