No, its not. Agni has undervolt, also you can set minimum CPU clock to 300MHz, also it has governors that are as fast as Interactive, but more battery friendly (Impulse).

>10h SoT on Agni for me, derp 7-8.

Latest update :
I'm facing black screen ( system.ui maybe) and can't be solved by a reboot. The only solution is to revert the update. Anyone facing the same thing?

I'm facing the same and it happens every day at same time. Flashing the rom again solves the problem until next day.

This is happening for me too. Screen goes off at the exact same time every day, but for me flashing the rom again doesn't solve anything. Weirdly, it seems to fix itself after one hour has passed. Never faced anything like this.

on this cpu having a minimum frequency of 300mhz is useless, the energy consumption is almost identical. Ice cold in the latest versions has removed the underclock precisely for this reason.
Little core is a low energy part of your SOC , it use low voltage and power consuption are very low , its create for work with stock minimium clock and grant same consuption. Old 4 Core CPU work well with 300mhz , this 8 core CPU has little and big CPU for this reason. The optimization's promised by most mods on android are placebo , only optimizations are AOSP stock android roms with only daily use essentials apps. Few running processes are only way for low consuption. Remove google spyservices (gapps) , spycebook and others leeches apps and you have very great battery life. Use your RN5 only for browsing on the web , IM and not for play horrible low quality games. Gaming PC its for gaming , not a low price phone like this. This is a minimal phone very good for browse the web and IM.

That stands, but what about undervolt and governors?

Power consumption scales exponentially with voltage. Fact is, you can't get this kind of SoT with Derp, with Agni (with removed OC, governors set as i've said), i got 10.5h SoT with 9% battery left after ~30H usage.

With Derp and same usage, 7-8h SoT max. Also, phone heats up more.

OT: You are using MicroG right? Do you have any issues with notifications for IM apps? I have used it a long time ago and had issues with Viber so I dropped it, but would like to use it again.

I use havoc without gapps and without MicroG , alla my apps are this :)
I use my RN5 same as a PC without push , my IM app is Threema and it work in background with polling of 15 minutes.
Cloud/push = Spy ;)
