Updating Magisk from 19.3 to 20, the last stable version, messed up badly with my phone.
It booted but all the system settings were reset: Wifi networks, permissions, notifications,... everything went away.

I assume this issue must be linked to my twisted setup, mixing an Oreo firmware and kernel with a Pie rom.

That's why I advise to avoid Magisk 20 to whoever runs with a mixed Oreo/Pie stuff.

Hi there, new to Havoc, great ROM, thanks! One issue I have is that the Gestures Anywhere trigger section (on the edge) seems to be moving sometimes so I need to reset it in settings.
Other than that, all is well. Like the customization of desktop, status bar, etc.

Maybe kernel? I followed your instruction on flashing pie fw, oreo and oreo kernel. I tried first the purecaf. and updated magisk to v20, nothing happens. still the same. not sure about that.

Can i flash in miui 9 oreo?
If you're talking about the kernel KangarooX r4.4, yes, you can install is with MIUI Oreo but I don't know it everything would work flawlessly with it because I've only tested with Havoc OS 2.9.

I still don't know why my first attempt failed. The only possible explanation I can imagine so far is that I wiped something that shouldn't have been instead of wiping only Cache + Dalvik.
As my second attempt went fine, this failure will stay without final explanation.

BTW, the calibration of my battery went wrong again but I believe it's caused by the full restore from the recovery because the phone ends up with a different battery level than the backup's one, and it could have mess with the battery stats.
Recalibrating the battery after each full restore is apparently a good thing.

I am using Havoc v2.9 with no magisk module and no custom kernel.

PMGC_7.0.009_FinalBuild_V14 gcam crashes while launching. Is any one facing same issues?

Ps: Camera2api enabled

And please suggest any latest gcam which works perfectly with our devices using this rom. And front flash too for selfies ?
