Redmi K20 Pro
Moved from havoc mod to official rom as it was not having call recoding feature.

Did a clean install of the rom even formatted the data partition.
Now I am trying to encrypt using the settings for phone encryption. But it shows the neon Android logo and hot reboots and does nothing

Can anyone help me encrypt my phone.

So, you mean that these above are the best gapps, correct? You don't recommend to install everything that aren't above your response like stock and everything else?

Thanks for clarification.

Best regards,
Madexter.

Another question for y'all, guys. Have anyone else with problems in face unlock on Redmi Note 5 Pro? Gimme advices about it... How can I solve? I see people saying that have to flash GApps twice. So, what version of GApps I should flash in my smartphone? Do you recommend to do it in the first time? It's commonly occurring the error?

Thanks for clarification and advice, guys. You're the best! I want to help y'all with this project.

Best regards,
Madexter.
You got it right. For Face Unlock Nano Gapps and above

Hello,

I don't know if written anywhere but what's the difference between this rom and Havoc OS Mod/unofficial version?

I am using this official version by ruturaj.

Thought I flashed successfully, but ...

Was pretty happy with my flash of 03/28 rom before yesterday, except Notification sound and double tap to wake (and Camera etc.).
Yesterday for the first time, I had to call someone without using a Bluetooth earphone, I then realized that the phone's earpiece doesn't work during a phone call. If I turn on it's speaker, I can hear other people, and other people can hear me, if however, I turn off it's speaker and use it's earpiece, I can't hear other people and other people can't hear me.
The earpiece and mic were working properly under the stock MIUI. Did anyone experience the same issue?

Also I start to believe I got a fake Redmi Note 5 (Whyred), because every rom I flashed, I got error 7, so I had to manually modify update script, then it will work, why it that? The only explanation is THIS PHONE IS NOT A Whyred, any thoughts?

And yes, it has been clean flashes all the time.

If your phone is not a whyred, it wouldn't even boot 03/28 build for whyred. If I remember correctly, error 7 is due to incompatible recovery or due to old firmware. I forgot which is the correct one

Tried 3 firmwares (forget the details, but all Oreo stable, 2 Chinese and 1 global) and 2 recoveries ( Twrp 3.2.3-0 and 3.2.3-5) still the same. I don't think the issue is with the ROM because I later flashed Pixel Experience on it, same problem with the earphone no sound, and no notification sound / no double tap wake up.
Looks like the only option for me now is to go back to stock MIUI, that's too bad because I really like this Rom, I was on Pixel Experience very briefly, Havoc is much better than PE in terms of customization.

Are you flashed Pie FW before?

New update is out dated 15/04/2019. For changelog, refer to post #2. Also guys do remember, I haven't switched to pie blobs. It means oreo firmware is required to flash the rom and make sure it works perfectly without any issues. Also OTA has been already pushed. New users can checkout new build from the link in OP.

I'm on the lastest firmware (ARB 4)... Which firmware recommend you for this ROM? (If I'm understand I need to install a firmware without ARB, right?)

Since some builds ago I cannot install OTA updates anymore: the phone reboots onto TWRP and does nothing as it doesn't decrypt the storage. Any tip? I've tried with different versions of TWRP and even with Black Pitch Recovery.
