Not a ROM issue as it works fine here.
Tip: Record a video with the phone in landscape mode (home button on the right).
When playing back this video the bottom microphone will be the right channel and the top microphone will be the left channel.
If this doesn't happen on your laptop, check that other stereo videos play ok
You may have a damaged (or blocked) top microphone. You may insert a thin needle or pin into the top microphone hole (you may do the same with the bottom microphone as well), it's quite safe as the microphone is downward pointing on the board and encased in metal. You won't damage anything. The needle/or pin needs to completely unblock the hole.

If all that fails then you may have to flash the latest stock Oreo ROM and take another video.

Only by using apps like Substratum, Hex or maybe Swift Installer, but not directly from the rom.

if you means about Rom Control (Maybe I confuse about the correct name), answer is no!
However, there is Aroma, when installing the Rom, to select what you need, and will be installed & little Customized.
Then about custom of the system, Magisk + Xposed or GoodLock are available.

It depends on your region/country, operator and SIM card. Apart from that, it's an Android question ...not specific to this ROM

I would like to know if the high resolution/quality audio, hi-res UHQA PCM, is working in this rom. Either in Samsung music player, or selecting it as an output for example in Poweramp music player.

Also does Zygisk in magisk works with the kernel in this rom?

Pd: for example UHQA is not working in the lineage os 12.1 rom available here in xda, but has zygisk working
The stock android 8.0 has workinh UHQA but zygisk is not compatible

hello. does anyone know how to remove this rom from my device. i usually just flash the stock rom files via odin but its not working in this case. i flash stock successfully via odin and go thru phone setup and it has stock rom but when i connect to my computer my computer still picks it up as being a note 8. so remnants of the blackdiamond rom are still on the device even though it was flashed with stock. does anyone know how to get rid of all the black diamond from this device?
