It's solid. Running it for the past month with no issues.

so far, it seems more stable than the unofficial LOS17 build for kenzo.
phone encryption is working with twrp 3.2.3.0 but not with twrp 3.4.0.0!

- any chance of getting a 'SELinux Enforcing' build?

No, its very stable. The Q ROMs are not usable as a daily driver for me.
The only bug i found is the missing LED Notification during charge process.

Maybe the missing LED Notification will be fixed soon. I hope so.
Then i can switch from LOS 14.1 to 16 complete.

Thanks. Yes the bugs in Q were a deal breaker. My father is currently using it. On AEX 4.7. But Pie and later just feel much smoother (although RAM usage is quite a bit higher as well) last time I had tried. Maybe a factory reset is needed(~15 months since I flashed AEX) but I didn't think SD650 would prove to be laggy in general usage. Hence thinking about flashing any Pie ROM.
