I have a problem, I think it's bootloop? I flashed twrp through adb, asked for a password to decrypt(didn't have one, nor anything that I tried work), flashed ressurection remix anyway. The phone said it couldn't decrypt it so it's gonna format it. It did it's thing and it was working. I don't know why but the buttons are really sensitive, it sometimes goes off in my pocket, the thing got into recovery and only booted into recovery. I tried restarting into system, but it would just get to the RR logo and just stay there a few seconds(the circle does not appear). I wiped and flashed the rom again, worked again no problems whatsover, flashed magisk and vanced, all working. The same with the button happened yesterday, and after reflashing it still does the same, shows the RR logo for a brief moment then restarts and goes to the rr logo and restarts,etc.etc. I don't know what the problem is.

flashed the one provided in the post 9.6.27
I think you don't use a correct TWRP supporting decryption. Go flash OrangeFox R10

then follow instructions an other time and flash firmware and rom an other things you need.

If you use already OF, you might missed a wipe.

what if im using latest eu beta rom?
If you're on xiaomi or whatever follow instructions that's all but use the correct recovery. I recommand ONLY to use OrangeFox R10 or above.

I used https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-max-3/development/recovery-twrp-3-2-3-1-nitrogen-t3866084 this recovery. I tried flashing Orange Fox still the same result.

ALL custom ROMs here have this problem! There is no way to fix it.It is a PIE bug, MIUI fixed it by backport some touch related things.
Says everyone who can't fix it calling those without issue or fixed issue liars.

It is possible to fix this kernel side, proven and thested on 5 devices among my friends and family, nothing to add other than it's not uncommon that before admitting failure to call things not possible, it's a widely common attitude and many jump with happiness on anyone reputable who confirms their views.

I even posted kernel settings in another thread and no-one who tried came back with a blank.

I'm just visiting here informing myself about other roms hence won't be back for back and forth discussions.

I can only tell you the steps I use for all the ROMs here and never had any touchscreen issues. I tried this ROM yesterday and no such issues. I have the 6GB/128GB hardware and use Nijels TWRP.
These are the steps:
1. Boot into TWRP
2. Tap Wipe: select Art/Davlik, System, Data and Cache. Slide to execute
3. Next Tap Install: select the firmware file and install
4. Then install ROM. After installing ROM wipe Art/Davlik
5. Then install PICO Gapps Package from Open Gapps. Wipe Art/Davlik
6. Finally install Magisk if required. Wipe cache/Davlik
7. Boot system.
8. Follow setup steps
9. When prompted sign into google and restore all your apps and data from cloud back up.
10. When apps restore complete, then reboot ROM and start using it.
11. Do not restore any app or data from any other backup software. Do not install any Gcam. If you had not enabled cloud back up previously then manually install your apps from Play store.

Follow these steps exactly and post if it solved the problem or not. Thanks
Gcam why not?????
