I will try to look into this if I have the time :good:

I am not fully sure what you are trying to do with this link honestly. Maybe I just didn't look at it well, but why not just use the microG version of this ROM that I have provided? Or is it all about the patched Playstore as opposed to using the Faksetore provided? Maybe I am still half asleep and missed something :D
I need a playstore because Franco kernel manager doesnt work. It doesn't verify its license since I did buy it thru play store

PS I am using microg build

Ok, gotcha. And I suppose manually copying the included files from the play store zip and perhaps deleting the fake store is not a possibility?
I'm not sure why flashing that zip would cause problems.
When I have the time and I'm on my mini again I'll try it out and see if I can tell what's going on.

i dont know why it causes problems. but ive noticed that as soon as i install twrp app via recovery( wich instals it to system partition) it also wont boot. il try to get u a boot log. im not "komfortabel" with moving those items to the wanted place, because the zip also removes some pre installed microg installed stuff that cant co exist (if i read correctly)

Actually not working, after flash the first boot take like 5 min so everything is fine and it boot to twrp after that. I don't even know what to do it's for SM-G800F But not working it doesn't make sense. I need help, please I really want this rom cause lineageos is the best rom ever that really faster and stable I really like it because it's not working I'm forced to stay on Lineageos 15.

Thanks in advance.

Hmm.perhaps a Gapps issue? Are you installing the TWRP app after flashing? If so,dont! Are you performing a clean install when coming from LOS 15? If not,you need to.

Try nanodroid. you can fine tune the installation with a file (.nanodroid-setup) and just install install the playstore from there. (you might still need to manually delete the Fakestore if you're using the microG build)

I'm really sorry, but there's not a whole lot I can suggest as I have no idea what's causing this problem for you. I always test my builds and no one else has mentioned any issues like this.
Do a clean flash without Gapps and try. Idk what else to suggest at this point.

Some people told me that it was a kernel issues like, it downloaded the wrong kernel or idk. I've seen the same problem here.

Hey, no problem. I'm always glad to try and help. I do not think your problem is with firmware. This should not be causing your issues. I wish I could help more, but I just really don't know, sorry. Perhaps someone else has an some ideas?

Also, please edit and remove your IMEI from your previous post. I removed it from my post quote.

Edit:
Actually looking at your post again I see that you are running Android 5. This maybe is causing problems for you. Flash the Android 6 firmware you linked in your previous post and it may help.

This is maybe a battery issues cause she is a little bit swollen and broken.

I'm also gonna try Android 6 firmware from Angola cause it's apparently the best.

Hello,
I found a working camera for my installation,
(No root, no gapps, pure installation)
No need to change the camera2 - api...
Running out of the box!
F-droid-store... SIMPLE-CAMERA
Other apps, like opencamera, or the other sugestions got stuck, when stopping the video capture...
Cheers guys and thanks for the good work on os16

@spookcity138:

Since @mongo0 seems to have succeeded in fixing NFC in his crDroid build, could you port that to your ROM?
Well, I did accept a pull request from him for this and we discussed it some. I was under the impression that it actually wasn't working, so I reverted it. If it is indeed working I will certainly include it in next months build.

It actually is enabled in the microG build as I forgot to revert it

I'm sorry, I didn't believe it would be running stable enough to re-enable for all users here. I had some problems after reboots, android beam wasn't working, and I felt that battery depleted faster...
I can push a commit to re-enable it if you haven't done so yet...I'd also have some more commits on the road to video recording that can be merged (but still not enough though)

I haven't re-enabled nfc yet on the standard build, but I'll just revert the reverted commit I suppose.

NFC is enabled on my microG build. I don't use this device often anymore, but that's the version I use when I do, so I'll try to keep an eye on battery life and such with it enabled.

Glad to hear you're still working on video recording. As always, BIG thanks for all of your work on the device!
