I did a full format and clean install of the 2019-02-10 build, then threw opengapps nano and 18.1 magisk on top. Base system looks good so far but what seems missing is call recording. I recall it working in either 14.x or 15.x lineageOS build from one.
Might have been the 15.1 build from this thread - https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...t/g800f-m-y-lineageos-15-0-g800f-m-y-t3678205

Anyway would it be possible to enable the call record feature again (it should pop up in Czechia from what I understand) or did it somehow completely break with Android 9?

https://github.com/LineageOS/androi...m/android/dialer/callrecord/res/values-mcc230 <- should be enabled for mcc230 which is CZ. Netherlands also seem to be allowed, so you should be able to test easily.

EDIT: It wasn't the 15.1 thread. Probably 14.1 then.
As long as call recording is working in the LOS sources (which I assume it is) then it shouldn't be too difficult. I'll look into it for next build.

Greetings! I flashed the ROM today! It's pretty cool that all the basic (and not so basic) stuff works. The fingerprint is working but not perfectly (To be honest, the sensor is not the best on this device, either).

I'm not sure which camera app should I use (don't know the correct google camera version for this ROM).

Almost all the settings works. As far I checked: the ambient display options are not working.

Thank you for the good work

Hello :)
I installed two days ago, I like the rom a lot, thank you so much.
I upgraded from your 14.1 LOS build :)

Everything works as expected, I discovered microG and like its functionality a lot.

I have had a weird problem with battery drain issue with both builds though, the battery doesn't last a long day, just a short one ;)
I did full wipe etc, I think disabling LTE does help, but it's still weird. Does any1 else have similar issues? I have a brand new battery bought offline from a large and trusted seller. The battery is losing charge very quickly when it's full, then lasts a while and then loses quickly from 30 percent on. Old battery did the same but different, didn't last long as well.
On my s4 mini I had way more battery life with LOS, any ideas why?

I got the same battery problem but I believe is not related to the ROM. I was using LOS 14.1 and jumped to the official stock MM firmware. The battery was a little better there but the main problem persisted. Later I realized that 2 main elements were draining my battery: Display & Whatsapp...
Yes, Whatsapp drains battery as hell, especially if you disable network and Whatsapp is running. Mobile Network also uses a lot of power. I tried this ROM a day connected only to WiFi and the battery life was outstanding. My advice for you is: try to keep an eye for those things. Amoled Wallpapers + LOS Dark Mode lowers the battery consumption for display.

Thanks for the feedback. I have been using footej camera without any issues. I am not a big picture/video taker, but have taken my share without any issues.

Yesterday installed microg-version.
I cant write to /system with MiXplorer or scan /system with SD Maid (Fileexplorer). It's rooted with Magisk.
Any idea?
Otherwise great rom!
To revisit this issue with writing to /system in MiXplorer. It seems as though there is now an option in MiXplorer's settings -> more settings that needs to be checked in order to allow root. After checking this option all works as expected. Hope that helps.

I was playing with the settings and found a detail with the statusbar. The network traffic option inside the statusbar settings doesn't appear to work. This is not something critical or anything, but I was wondering if this particular feature doesn't work at all or if it works under certain conditions.

Yeah,I noticed this as well. I believe it must be an LOS sources issue. So hopefully it'll be fixed in the next release.

In latest build I again can't edit files, backup chats in WhatsApp, maybe it fixed? (In test alpha build it all works fine)
Yeah,in the test build I disabled sdcardfs and reverted back to fuse file system just to test if that was indeed the issue. In the latest build I have gone back to sdcardfs as I made a bunch of commits relating to this in the kernel. However, it did not fix everything. Good news though I believe I have fixed most of the storage issues with 1 simple commit. This will be part of the next build.

EDIT:
Here is a boot image I made and posted on github with the fix. You can test it out by flashing in TWRP if you'd like. Just select flash image and select boot partition.
Feedback is appreciated.

Great! Thank you for your feedback. I know it fixed a lot of issues for me, but I hadn't tried to backup chats. So I was curious about that. Good to know this is now fixed and I can check this issue off the list. It proved a real pain the @$$.

OK, so I've used this ROM for over two weeks now. I shared some basic feedback when I installed and tested but I can give you guys a more comprehensive feedback:

It's stable. There are some little things and details that doesn't work out of the box, but I believe they're not important. The only exception for some people might be the camera. A good solution for this is using the suggested app Footej. Depending on the resolution of photo and video it may lag (but Hey, we guys are not in this thread because of the camera, right?)

I also commented before about the battery life. I said that the consumption was mainly because of the phone and when using mobile data. After using it for two weeks I can notice that the battery consumption is higher than previous ROMs, BUT: We're talking about Android Pie! The Android system uses almost 500mb of ram because of all the pretty features Android 9 has to offer. So, this is a trade-off. I believe all S5 mini Pie ROM will behave the same.

The ROM is fluid. I don't usually see freezings or glitches. The dark mode is great. And we can always reduce the resolution or increase display size (called by the name in display settings) for better performance. Multitasking is good. It behaves just like LOS 14.1 when split screen.

I will keep using it for now :) thank you for making this happen!

Hello, the ROM has been on my phone for a while now and I am quite satisfied. Today I noticed that the GPS does not work properly in all apps. In Oruxmaps and Sygic Car Navigation it works without problems, in Maps and cgeo, however, the location is not displayed and the app does not report an activated GPS. The permissions are set. Does anyone know this problem or does anyone know what I can do?
In addition, I have the problem that the wifi in idle mode is often disabled and can not find a setting to prevent this.
Otherwise, but many thanks for the ROM. It's nice that someone still supports the S5 mini.

Another storage issue was the inability to download files with Firefox (I needed to use the built-in browser instead). This boot image fixes downloading with Firefox, well done!

This rom is very smooth and surprisingly very stable
Some bugs i've noticed:
- music album covers doesn't display
- as mentioned bt doesn't work
- in some apps, such as Snapchat, the recording of videos lags, taking pictures works well
- pixel launcher crashes constantly

everything else working fine for me, thank you for your amazing work :cowboy:
I can confirm that music album covers are not shown - tested with various music players.

Everything else seems working great so far, thank you very much for this ROM and the continued support for our S5 mini

This issue is fixed. I also had this problem. Flash the boot image I posted a few posts up..or wait until this weekend and I should have a new build to release.

So I think I found a bug, its definitely a minor one but when you have expanded desktop activated and you try to watch a video in landscape mode it, full screen it and then go back out of full screen, the whole progress bar and the full screen and mute button get cut off in the video player. I know this is very specific, just wanted to let you know and ask if you can replicate it
(in Settings turn expanded desktop on -> watch YouTube video in landscape orientation -> full screen video -> go back out of full screen)

Please tell me if you did and it worked for you or if its just my old phone having Dementia and forgetting, what to display. Ty

Edit: I'm using the DuckDuckGo browser, don't know if that's got anything to do with it
