So I think I found a bug, its definitely a minor one but when you have expanded desktop activated and you try to watch a video in landscape mode it, full screen it and then go back out of full screen, the whole progress bar and the full screen and mute button get cut off in the video player. I know this is very specific, just wanted to let you know and ask if you can replicate it
(in Settings turn expanded desktop on -> watch YouTube video in landscape orientation -> full screen video -> go back out of full screen)

Please tell me if you did and it worked for you or if its just my old phone having Dementia and forgetting, what to display. Ty

Edit: I'm using the DuckDuckGo browser, don't know if that's got anything to do with it

Just tried this. No issues in Chrome. No issues in Firefox. However, I tried using the DuckDuckGo browser and I can replicate the problem. So it seems to be a browser specific issue.

Can no one understand the GPS problem from # 115?
And also the Wlan problem is not? I now have Wlan crashes even with active screen.
I have used LOS 14 before and none of the two problems under this ROM.

I personally have no connection issues, so it is very difficult for me to try and fix this. Perhaps provide a log?
I will try to look into GPS, but probably not before I release a new build. I have tested with GPS status and a GPS test app and it shows it working well. I will connect to adb at some point and see if I notice anything useful.

How can I provide a corresponding log?
As already described, in some apps, the GPS works without problems, but not in cgeo and not in Google Maps. In cgeo, the GPS status is not connected, and Google Maps has a gray location and no location.

One question regarding aptX:
It's possible in Developer Options to choose the Bluetooth-Audio-Codec and there are "aptX" and "aptX-HD" available.
But it's not possible to change the Audio-Codec, it always stays with "use system selection (standard)"

Any idea how to change to aptX or is it in general not possible?

We don't have the aptX libraries so it's not possible... However I think I remember reading that our device does support them. I'll look into this and if so I'll try to add them.

Thanks a lot for the feedback. Yeah,logs would be most helpful. For those who would like to share a log,but perhaps don't know how Heres a good detailed description. However,an easy way,if you have root,is going to be to download a logcat application and use that. I can recommend MatLog.

I have problems with my computer's USBs so i use Catlog for the logcat. I found this error trying to play an Instagram video

I would appreciate some feedback from you or anyone else on whether or not this had any effect on the Facebook,Instagram video issues. I will attach a boot image. Just select "flash image" in TWRP and be positive to select boot partition if you would like to test it out. Thanks!

But how do I get root access for apps?

I have reinstalled the ROM again and gradually all apps. That solved my GPS problem, it now works in all apps.
I still have problems with the wifi, which often shuts off in standby. I can not find any reason for that in the settings.
Overall, the ROM does not run as smoothly as LOS 14. Since the cell phone is probably at its performance limits? The apps start sometimes quite slowly and commands are executed delayed. Often the system also hangs up and after a while the program crashes, the open one simply drops off, e.g. Navigation (Sygic) or the photo app (Footej camera). This does not work well, videos are recorded very jerky. Too bad ... Is there a better recommendation for a camera app? Open Camera also does not work, as well as HD Camera and A better camera (already tried).
I hesitate to say goodbye to LOS 14 because it is going very well. At the moment, I have it from Panzerknacker on it and it works great. Let's see how long there will be updates.

...works for me. Videos in the whatsapp status are now being played.

Hi, I have the same problems. The phone slows down with every app I used, and was freezing in the end. After I detected, that it was fast again after closing the used apps, I activated “Don 't keep activities“ in the apps-section of the developer options and set the background limit to “2“. Seems to work so far.
The behaviour reminds me of problems I had with Linux with not enough Ram and little Swap-space. Just a suggestion...
I installed Matlog as recommended by spookcity and hope to get a useful log, if I get a freeze again.
