Thank you for the ROM. INstalled Open GApps 9.0 stock. Pretty smooth compared to MIUI 10.1 stable. However a couple of things.
1) SE linux is disabled
2) Camera crashes. Unusable
3) As mentioned bluetooth pairs, but no sound output.
4) Can't seem to install Amazon shopping app.
Any insights would be much appreciated.

new build with december security patch is up! check op
if you got error on install. remove zip file in rom file or use old twrp

Could you please clarify what you mean by remove zip file in rom file? Install as IMG file?
there will be other zip file in rom zip file. remove that

Thank you! Actually a file named compatibility.zip. I deleted and dirty flashed. No immediate errors.
SELinux and encryption are still disabled. Any chance to change this in future builds? Also, I am yet to check bluetooth sound output.
On a minor note USB file transfer is occasionally giving me errors i.e computer doesn't recognize device. Anyone else seeing this?

Dirty flashed. No issues.
Update:
1) DT2W functionality is lost. Was working in previous build.
2) No Bluetooth output.
Will update as I find other bugs.

Don't wanna sound rude but the development of the Mi Pad4 riught now is still really fresh , so don't expect the SELinux mode to change to enforcing any time soon as it is way easier for devs to debug if it is permissive.
Let's just wait until all the problems get fixed and then they could probably focus on that.
Also we are tlaking about a Pie rom here , which has not been out for too long , even my Redmi Note 4 which has plenty of 9.0 ROMS is still in permissive mode.
Appreciate the response. I was wondering if there was a difference between it being permissive vs. disabled or is it synonymous.
Brilliant ROM alongside the google pixel live wallpapers and hyperion launcher makes it feel very similar to a pixel device. Very smooth indeed
