I'm sorry to ask but where did that kernel came from? I can't find it on this forum section.

I have tried but it doesn't install on twrp. And as the post above said, probably shouldn't have tried since I have no idea where that came from.
You need to have Magisk installed to flash it. The kernel is shared in the "Mi Mix 3 Global Community" Telegram group. For more info join the group.
I see thank you. I never really use magisk. Can I install it as is or do I need to wipe anything?
I was able to update to the latest build without any wiping or formatting using the following method:
Flash latest ROM, flash gapps (I used stock), boot system.
Reboot recovery.
Flash MIUI camera, flash Magisk 20, boot system.
The critical step was to boot to system before flashing Magisk, otherwise RR won't start.
Thanks @Constrabus, awesome work.
I have problem install lastest build 20190928, following these steps:
format data(yes) - reboot twrp - wipe cache, sytem, data - flash firmware (tried 9.6.20 both china and global, 10.3.2.0 both china and global) - flash RR - flash gapps 20190522
Bootloop on MI logo
Coming from MIUI global developer 9.6.27.
Any idea?
SOLUTION
by scavenging around I applied this method: downloaded and flashed latest xiaomi.eu ROM, let it boot and then back to twrp I wiped caches+system+data, then flashed 9.2.15 firmware from https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=1395089523397963751 then flashed 10.3.3.0 firmware from https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/archive/firmware/perseus/, then flashed latest RR+ opengapps + magisk, booted fine, then back to twrp flashed xent kernel because you never know. Tomorrow will be the fun day where I am supposed to actually configure this damned phone and make it my daily driver... if only my Mix1 didn't take that bad fall...
You did mention MIUI camera?, Is that stock cam port for custom roms? Can you upload it please!
I managed to get it boot too, but by install EU 10.3.2.0, let it boot, reboot twrp, factory reset ( wipe cache, dalvik cache, data), install rom & gapps, boot up, reboot twrp, install magisk.
I did not format data and wipe system and its work.

It's the Grotesque Walking Stick version. However, it caused problems on this build. I subsequently discovered that it won't start, and it also breaks the other two camera apps (LOS & Google). It worked fine on the previous build, and I'm wondering if it's because I didn't wipe.
So currently there is no way to use the tele camera with any apps? I can't change to the upper camera with gcam, nor with the builtin camera app, anxcamera isnt starting for me too.
