I cannot get the camera to work properly. No camera app works well, if it even will start without crashing. I've tried to get modified versions of Google Camera but to no avail. No matter what, though, the worst thing is that everything looks really cruddy. Really bad picture quality on screen, and it looks a bit better in the captured image but not really something I'm okay with. What is causing the camera issues? I had done a clean install and rooted with Magisk and installed the latest compatible Gapps package. If I need to be using a specific camera app then I would appreciate some direction on that as well

Try footej camera from play store.
I installed on my phone. Little slow but usable.

Thanks Sammy_17.
It is great rom. I just installed last night. All work out well for me. Except ask for select sim at every boot.
Camera is little slow but useable . Footej camera work too.
As previou post battery option it didn't work it cause by Device Health Monitor (auto updated by play store) just disable it then select previous version.

FAQ:
Before using the ROM:
Q. Can I have an ETA for the next build?
A. Yes, just look in the OP to see if your device is built on a nightly or weekly schedule.

Q. Does this ROM support custom kernels?
A. No. You can still use them, but discussion should go in the thread of the respective kernel. We don't offer support for bugs you might encounter while using them!

Q. Why doesn't this ROM support Xposed?
A. Xposed is a hack that is geared towards AOSP, custom ROM's modify the framework a lot, so Xposed can cause a ton of issues on custom ROM's. Now it might work for you, however it is not to be discussed in this thread, and you should refrain from posting bug reports.

Q. Alright, but I still want to flash Xposed, so which version do I need to install?
A. You will need to use the version arm64/arm/whatever for SDK 27.

Flashing the ROM:
Q. What do I need to know before flashing?
A. Check the install instructions in the first post...

Q. Can the builds be dirty flashed over each other?
A. Yes, however make a nandroid backup first as there is a chance of getting a bootloop or encountering bugs. Also bugs may only be reported on a clean flash.

Q. How do I dirty flash builds?
A. Wipe the System, Cache and ART/Dalvik cache. Flash the ROM, GApps (only needed if you wipe the system), your preferred root solution and reboot. Or just use the OTA app to preform that task for you.

Q. How do I flash kernel builds?
A1. If it's a .img file, boot into TWRP and go to the install page in TWRP, in the bottom right corner select "install image", select the desired kernel, then select "boot", then swipe to flash, then go back to the install screen and install your root method again, if you don't want to loose root and reboot.
A2. If it's a flashable ZIP, you can flash it together with a ROM update or separately. Go to the install page in TWRP, choose the kernel zip (or add it to the flash queue right after the ROM zip). Then add your root method to the queue if you don't want to loose root. Now swipe to flash, and then reboot.

Using the ROM:

Q. I installed a bad theme and now I'm getting a bootloop, how do I fix it?
A. In TWRP, flash the substratum rescue zip that's in the substratum folder on the internal storage.

Q. Do I need to provide a logcat if I'm reporting a bug?
A. If you want it to be fixed faster (or at all) then yes, you should definitely provide a logcat. (Note: Please just link the logcat from your GDrive, Dropbox, etc. and do not post the content here. Thanks.

Q. How do I get a logcat, what type should I get and more questions that can conveniently be answered by my pre-determined answer?
A1. Read this thoroughly. Also, here's a good app for getting logs: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tortel.syslog (Root needed).

Instructions.png

The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android. You don't need to install any Add-on's, simply download the latest ROM, GApps, flash it and go!
If you want the device to run the ROM "rooted", you can flash a root solution of your choice after the ROM Zipfile.

It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.

Install.png

- Backup your personal data (Important)
- Download the ROM and GApps and transfer them to your device.
- Boot to recovery (TWRP recommended).
- Wipe the System, Cache, Data and ART/Dalvik cache.
- Flash the ROM + Gapps Zipfile.
- Flash the root solution of your choice (optional).
- Reboot your device.

The ROM has GApps persistence in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once!
The root solution should be flashed together with every update (= ROM Update)

Currently Supported Root Solutions:

Magisk stable
Magisk versions higher than 14.0 doesn't require flash on every dirty flash depending on the device, some devices need you to flash it every time, unless your maintainer says otherwise it should be fine

Found a lot of bugs

Switched to another rom in like 30 minutes. Whole bunch of bugs here :
- camera keeps crashing 100% of the time
- can't get battery % to show up, settings app crashes every time I click on battery
- also crashes when you try to access battery settings by long pressing on battery saver from the notifications
- both incoming and outgoing calls fail even though network bar is full, probably some issue with apn
- fingerprint id fails 80% of the time

Just a heads up, this project has been abandoned so don't expect any fixes for the bugs. If you want to retain the customizability of Android pie and prefer stability, migrate to Arrow OS. If you prefer features over stability go with Havoc Os but it has several minor bugs that might annoy you but isn't real that big of a deal. Most of them are with features you probably won't even use.
If you prefer battery life, go with Arrow OS because it has the best battery life on pie ROMs for s2

Fixes:
- Download footej can or open camera from play store and use those. They are working fine. Alternatively you can use the Google camera ( from apps and mods section of Le eco Le 2 forum)
-Disable "device/battery health services" from the installed apps list. You battery settings will now open fine from settings as well as from the notification shade.
-call functionality is ok. Try reflashing the room. Might have been an issue during the flash process.
Note : don't dirty flash. Wipe data, system, everything. Then copy over rom file via USB and then flash. Pixys os for s2 has some flashing issues.
Fingerprint ID is fine. Maybe something went wrong with the flashing process or your finger is dirty or when you registered your finger print it was dirty. Actually pixys os makes the fp sensor more sensitive and rejects finger prints more aggressively than other os. Also flash Overload kernel. It might help.

Thanks dev. Appreciate the quick and comprehensive reply. I had flashed this rom for a friend who isn't a power user and just wanted stability and performance improvements over the stock rom. He isn't used to custom roms or encountering bugs and was really scared that I had messed up his device. I've moved him to the pixel experience rom and he hasn't encountered any bugs yet. He's still mad at me and won't let me flash overload kernel lmao. I'll try Arrow OS on my mom's s2. Thanks again fro the tips.

Further, would you mind telling me, why are there so few roms for Le 1s, while there are a ton of Pie based options for Le 2. Even those that are available fro the 1s are all Nougat based. not even Oreo. Is it just because Le 1s it has a mediatek processor? It doesn't even have a Google Camera mod.

Thanks again. :)
