What I mean to say is I don't understand why he's asking about 4 G unless he's meaning to say 4 G LTE. I read the GS3 can only have 3 G or 4 G L T E so I was just a little confused by his statement,

Correct, WiMax is dead. That was the original Sprint 4G back in the OG Evo days. Now Sprint is rolling out their 4G LTE service. We reference it as the only 4G now.

what is: 2.4/5GHz WiFi Frequency Fix for LG8
does this help with WIFI signal strength? I noticed a post from freeza that he was going to update it for LI3, but don't see a post on that fix...

Edit: nevermind, found what it is, will wait for the LI3 fix freeza said he would release soon...

Why is the boot.img in the LG8 not matching the stock signature?!

I forced my OTA update and everything works not sure why it wasn't matching for the LI3 update.

When I delete files from system/App after rooting, why don't they come back after I wipe data and cache and flash stock rooted rom?

It even didn't work when I went into settings and did a hard reset

The only way I got them back was to do what is listed here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1904099) and start all over from a non rooted state
Any idea why?

Thanks

This will update your software to LI3.

The update contains firmware updates as well as a Kernel update too.

The update contains a file that will reflash the stock recovery every single time you reboot your phone if the digital signature doesn't match, but I have removed it from this rooted version I'm uploading. I will upload that file separately so that you can get the stock recovery back without worrying about Odin, then from there you should be able to apply the update manually from Sprint's servers and get updated firmware. Keep in mind that if you choose to accept the OTA from Sprint, it will only apply if you have unmodified system files and an unmodified kernel.

You should only do one or the other. If you flash this rooted update, you will no longer receive an update notification from Sprint. So you will need to either revert to a nandroid backup or reflash the stock software in order to update all of the firmware.

Stock Recovery to flash in Odin: (Don't rename it.)
Stock Recovery

If you download the Stock Recovery to flash in Odin, open Odin, press PDA and point to this file. It will flash only the stock recovery, allowing you to accept the OTA and update your firmware. This method will only work if you have a Stock kernel and unmodified system files.
Does the first link have the full firmware in it or do I need to install that one as well

First link is ROM only, so you do have to install the all-in-one firmware.
