Hey good folks, I need your help!
A year ago I got my Z00L back from my dad, so I installed Lineage 16 on it. At first was ok, but quickly was disappointed with battery life and overheating.
This week I found some spare time to try this ROM. The first time I tried with GApps Nano, and Play Services was crashing and restarting over and over. So I reinstalled with GApps full, and from this point on Wifi was no longer working.
Overall performance is far superior with AOSP.
Tried a clear install with no luck. Tried Lineage 16 again today and WIFI was ok.
Any advice?
Try aex o

Please tell me if there will be new versions of this rom? I want to install Android 9 to a relative whom I rarely see. If there is a new version, I will wait. I like rom, but sometimes the camera freezes and opens the application for a long time at an unnecessary moment. I have a ZOOT 3/32.

Good evening everyone.
I wanted to ask you for advice: which version of gapps do you recommend, to avoid conflicts with the custom ROM, to use on an Asus ZE550KL (Z00LD)?
Mini - Micro - Nano or Pico
Thank you very much

Maybe your sim 1 doesn't support 2g/3g that's why contact your sim provider

Good morning everyone at the Forum and Happy Easter
I'll explain my problem:
I had an Asus Zenfine2 ZE550KL Z00L, as said in the previous posts I managed to
install Lineage OS 16, but could not install AOSP 6.7;
after several tests the smartphone went brick unfortunately ....
I bought a used smartphone with a broken display identical to mine and replaced it
my mainboard with that of the used smartphone.
I performed this procedure:
- I installed the Asus apk app on the stock rom (Android 6.0)
- I have activated USB debugging
- from fastboot I checked if the device was connected with the "fastboot devices" command
- then I installed TWRP with the command: "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img"
- I restarted with the command: "fastboot boot recovery.img"

At this point I try to flash AOSP and gapps, but there is a continuous bootloop.

Lineage OS works, but sometimes I turn off the phone, but it restarts.
Also, the root checker app gives me this message:
Sorry! Root access is not properly installed on this device.

Certainly some passages are wrong; can you give me some suggestions?
thanks a lot

Volte

Amazing rom, but is there a way I can fix Volte? I can see the volte icon on the status bar but it's not actually working. I can't call or receive calls. (Jio 4G).

Goodmorning everyone.
I also want to make my small contribution;
the problems with the continuous boot-loop during installation were most likely due to the latest twrp-3.3.1-0-Z00L.img.
The installation was successful with the version: twrp-3.2.2-0-Z00L
Tested on Asus ZE550KL Z00LD.
AOSP 6.7 - open_gapps-arm64-9.0-pico-20200418
Happy Sunday everyone
