I am getting stuck on the boot logo (bootloop?) with the latest version.
Flashing using latest version of TWRP
Using mini Beans gapps
Wiped System, Data, Cache, Dalvik
Coming from PureNexus Marshmallow

I checked MD5 for rom and it's good.
I let this boot overnight and when I woke up, still showing the boot logo. Anyone have any ideas?
The procedure you are following for a clean flash is correct. It does take anywhere from 5 to 10 mins for the first boot, not longer than that. Try with OpenGapps instead? Also, are you flashing anything else apart from the ROM and gapps?

Originally the steps were:
Wipe System/Data/Cache/Dalvik
Flash ROM
Flash GAPPS
Wipe Cache/Dalvik
Reboot

I have flash other roms before (Galaxy S3, OnePlusOne, Oppo Find7s and Nexus 4), so I understand that the first boot takes some time.
Also, I read that OpenGapps is a bit more buggy but I will give that a shot.

Thanks!

What build are you flashing? Try this:
1. Wipe everything except internal storage (do this by checking the drives and not by factory reset)
2. Just flash the ROM zip
3. Reboot

See if it boots :fingers-crossed:

I am using the latest build, which I believe is 25 Aug 2017 version.
I tried last night, to flash just the ROM but it still bootlooped. Waited for over 30 minutes but still remained in the boot logo screen.

Thanks for helping! I guess I will leave Marshmallow on since it is only a backup phone. I will wait for Oreo!

Then there is something wrong at your end or may be the downloaded zip is corrupted

He said that the MD5 matched, so a corrupt download is unlikely. What version of TWRP do you have installed?
I downloaded the ROM again and checked the MD5 to confirm that it isn't a corrupt download. I will flash this file tonight, to see if it will boot.
I am using the latest TWRP, which I believe is 3.1.1.

I just flashed this rom (clean flash, installed stock image first), and OpenGApps micro, and I'm having trouble with Gboard. I installed it from the Play Store and whenever I try to use it, it crashes 0.5-3s after it pops up. If I can tap on it in that time, it inputs the letter.

Installing it as a system app didn't work. Turning off any settings that might be using the network (in case it was timing out or something) didn't work.

Any clues?

Check if it has its permissions set? It usually crashes when it has no permissions set.

Hi
I'm found bug in "Quick Settings". This bug occurred very long time ago (at least 6 months ago). Edit "Quick Settings" and attempting to move the tile from the add-on list, which lying under separator (eg Android Easter Egg) is not possible.

Didn't happen to me bro. Just top the Android Easter Egg qs tile. Don't drag it. Just tap it and it will go up automatically, just arrange it afterwards.

So finally, we have the brakthrough

Here is the alpha build of Nitrogen OS for mako: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=673791459329053918

What works?
- Calls
- WiFi
- Mobile data
- Bluetooth
- Sensors
- LED works for notification

What's not working?
- Camera
- Charging LED
- NFC

Flashing instructions
- Flash normally - reboot to recovery, flash ROM, flash gapps (I used latest Open gapps - pico package, flash SuperSu if you want root, reboot and profit!

I couldn't have done this without help and guidance from
@Ziyan - thanks man for the patience and support when I asked so many questions/ doubts to you ;)
@AdrianDC - thanks for the guidance; you are doing a great work with the tools and they are awesome :good:

I'll update the OP after feedback from some of you guys!

Nitin! Well done! Just as Nitrogen took the early lead when N was launched, O seems to be another one that will be the same! My thanks to you for the hard work, effort and time you put into maintaining our beloved N4! Special thanks also to xyyx, without his effort Nitrogen would not be possible.

As for the ROM itself, I know it is early days so there are bound to be bugs etc... Here are a few observations from my side

1. The wifi, I guess you are using the same drivers as Ziyan did, the range is very low, especially for the 5GHz radio, even at 10 ft distance it goes to "Poor", On N it used to have good range even at 30 ft distance.
2. Sensors, as already mentioned, but, apart from the initial one time they have not worked again even after several reboots.
3.Lock screen lock/unlock sound. I initially though there wasn't any sound for it, but it is there, the volume(i guess) is too low.

Apart from that I have not observed anything else that isn't already known. If I do encounter anything else, I shall report back. :)
