In my opinion, NOS is the best ROM for me, it's got all the main features that you'd use while being implemented well, everything is polished. Definitely give it a try. You can even use substratum without root. Thermal modes are there if you want more performance. Battery is great, though I'm using Franco kernel with it. Down side is no accent colors and dark mode doesn't cover everything, but again, substratum is there.

Personally I flash this to get accent colors zip in TWRP (different from one in magisk download section), and doesn't seem to be slowing down or glitching anything.

Definitely try it, I tried every ROM pretty much, and this is just my favorite. And dev is a great person and listens to feedbacks :)
Good to hear :). I'm on Pixel Experience right now but I don't like the lack of features. I can't even turn off notification LED for certain Apps. But I don't like Roms Like RR as they tend to overfill the ROM with buggy features.
What exactly are thermal modes? Can they also save battery? I think about going back to stock because of the lack of features on PE but Nitrogen seems to be a really good solution

Thermal modes, think of them as limiters for CPU. If you are playing a heavy game set thermal mode to gaming and you will get better performance obviously that will eat more battery. But if you are not using any heavy application and just browsing or streaming set it to streaming and it will limit the CPU usage and save battery.

Not able to add WiFi networks manually

I have SSID broadcast disabled on my home network and just a minor bug that it couldn't be added manually. I had to enable SSID broadcast to connect.

Only had this phone for 2 weeks, and just about finished up my first charge cycle using not only the phone, but this rom. I do things a little different, so I don't care about SOT - I'm all about how long my battery will last in general. 10+ days with 10% battery left - pretty darn impressive. No idea how this compares to stock since I flashed my phone as soon as the 72 hour period was up.

Love this big battery!

Just one silly question. Let say I flash this above test build and later on you decide to push it to OTA, will I get a new OTA update notification/do I have to flash it again or will the OTA be available only for those who didn't flash it?

No unless I make a new dated build. But this should be the final build unless some new issue pops up and requires immediate fix
