I want to stay with your CROMi-X v6.1 w/JB 4.3

Can I install the TWRP 2.8.7.0 w/BootLoader 11.4.x.x?

Or would I have to be running CROMi-X v7.1 KK 4.4.2 first?

It should work OK. You can always downgrade if it doesn't.

Okay, I tried it. TWRP is working, but the BootLoader still says it's version 10.x.x.x

Unless I'm looking in the wrong place.

You need to look on the boot loader screen. Power and volume down.

That is the next to last bootloader for the TF700 - not the TF701! You are in the wrong device forum my friend. And I hope you flashed TWRP 3.0.2 for the 700 and not yet another device....
I think you would benefit from reading my Beginners Guide...

How do I install CROMi-X 7.1r2?

How do you install Bootloader 11.4.1.29 OR 11.4.1.30 and install TWRP 2.8.x.x if you already have a custom ROM Installed? How do you know what bootloader you have? I think I have 10.6.1.14.8.
I can only install ROMS I found on on the XDA Fourms for the TF700t and in About Tablet it says I have a TF700 not a TF701t. When I tried to install the ROM on this page and after I set all the options on what programs and features I want and tap Install it finishes in 2 seconds and say that it was installed and when I hit next it reboots and no OS is installed. I'm using TWRP 3.0.2-0 and could not install 2.8.x.x via Fastboot or using TWRP from the zip file. Maybe I did it wrong or got the wrong or corrupt file for TWRP 2.8.x.x. the ASUSsupport page is useless because it assumes you have the ASUS Stock OS installed and the file they have a link to is a broken link.

Did you even read my post??
If you flash a TF701 bootloader to your TF700 you will brick it!! 11.4.1.29 or. 30 are TF701 bootloader and not for your device!
The last bootloader released for the TF700 was 10.6.1.14.10 and it's practically identical with the one you have right now.
You cannot flash this rom because it's not for your tablet.
Read the Beginners Guide! You need it!
