YOU MUST BE ON BOOTLOADER VERSION ENDING IN 4.02 AND TWRP 2.7+ OR CWM 6.5.0.0+ BEFORE FLASHING THIS ROM. SEE UPGRADE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW IF YOU ARE UNSURE



You must do a full wipe in recovery if coming from another ROM. Do not do a full wipe from the bootloader. Don't forget to do a Nandroid Backup first and give the ROM 15 mins to stabilise! The first boot will take 15 minutes!

UPGRADE INSTRUCTIONS

Steps

1. If you haven’t yet, unlock your Nexus 7

2. Install the omni version of Team Win Recovery Project (TWRP). Note this ROM will NOT install with older versions of recovery!

FLASHING THE ROM FROM RECOVERY

Steps

1. Download the ROM below and save to your internal or USB-OTG. Do not unzip the file.

Wanna test it out for me? :D

Looks like Omni source for both devices is pretty much the same. They share the same kernel. If you want to try it out and it doesn't work for 3g you can shoot me some logs and I can figure out how to get the RIL working. I imagine it wouldn't be much.

I see in the omni source that there are 2 different device trees for the deb and flo. Looks like we will have to build the deb from source except there is one problem. Nobody has updated the Deb for 5.0 yet. It has not seen omni updates since June 2014 :eek:
