Glad you got it sorted. But CWM 6.0.5.1 works just fine here....
When I type
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
to flash 6.0.5.1 I got stuck in bootloader, I don't know why... But I only wanted to flash SuperSu since when I download the ROM my DL stop at 500Mb. Very strange tonight..

I noticed a very bad battery usage... In 10 hours I go from 100% to 15%, with screen off. After charging, if I don't use my tf701, it remains 100% for many hours... I kill the processes, so I can't understand why... Am I the only one? can you help me please? Thank you

I am getting the same thing recently. For me, it seems to be google play services causing the drain. I just now installed this:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ryansteckler.nlpunbounce

Hopefully it works.

Ok, thank you very much. But i'd prefer to solve the problem without using an app. I flashed other roms and i've never had such a problem... it's very strange...
I saw a 100% asus keyboard use of RAM. Could it be?

goto settings > power management > power consumption and see what's running. The top item is probably your drainer.

You will have to dig a little deeper then. At least my said google play services which is a specific app.

Try downloading an app called wakelock detector or similar app.
Here some screenshots from "Wakelock detector"... From 100% to 75% in 2 hours, without using it (no wi-fi, no sync, no screen on, etc)

Can you help me please???

Based on those results I would:

Freeze in Titanium Backup:
Aquamail
Facebook
Ubersync for facebook
Google+

Set automatic updates in the Play Store to "never".
Then try again

I broke down and did a data wipe/factory reset. A couple of idle hours now and very little drain.

Yeah - a clean install is always the first thing to try if he/she didn't do it. Assumed he/she did....

It's so strange... sometimes it has no battery drain, and stays for 5/6 hours loosing 5% of battery; sometimes in 4/5 hours it shuts up, without changing any settings...

I'm on it's trail ;)
So far from 2 days of testing it seems - and this is preliminary, I still have to test a few scenarios - that there is no battery drain as long as the dock battery is full and the tablet is not below 70%.
My rig went from 100/80% to 100/77% (dock/tablet) in 7 hours last night. Totally acceptable with WiFi on IMO.
The mess seems to start as soon as the dock charges the tablet. The night before it went from 0/62% to being totally depleted in the morning (7 hours later).

Again: More test are necessary and it takes patience, but I don't think it's rom related. Last year I did a similar test with 4 other users on the TF700 to track down the mysterious battery drain. We all clean installed, had exactly the same mosty stock apps and tried to have the same settings. Results were.... inconclusive.

My theory is the dock does not allow the tablet to go into deep sleep as soon as it starts charging the tablet.
And it makes sense. Android was not designed for this tablet/dock combo. That is basically an Asus overlay or hack
of the original rom - and not a very good one at that it seems.
But again - I am only on the second of the full 100/100 to 0/0 test cycles yet.
Once I did 3 or 4 of these with similar results I plan to flash back to CROMi-X and do the same test, but my suspicion is, the only fix is to undock the tablet if it's battery is below 70%.

If you want to join me, here's what I do (and I only test for battery drain during sleep - there's no way to compare battery use when using it. Too many variables......)

Scenario 1: tablet is docked at all times, let it go to sleep on it's own (do not use power button)

Scenario 2: tablet is docked at all times, put it to sleep using the power button.

Scenario 3: tablet is docked when in use but I undock it before putting it to sleep.

I use the tablet normally and write down the time and battery percentages when I put it to sleep.
I write down time and battery percentage when I wake it up the next time.
I do that from 100/100 to 0/>10 (don't let it crash due to low battery) for 2 cycles on each scenario.
All settings, especially WiFi/sync related, stay the same.

If others are interested in this, we should open a thread in the General section (or revive one, because I think this has been covered before) and not clog up this one since - again: I don't expect it to be rom related.

Believe me, I've been there too. At times, something stops my tablet (undocked) from going into a deep sleep and I have yet to consistently determine what that is.BetterBatteryStats is a good tool to see that. If you don't already have it, you can pickup a free version here:

I am in the same boat as you right now. I have Android OS chewing up my battery and I really can not figure out why. I did a clean install this past weekend so I figured my issue would go away but apparently not.I am dropping about 5% per hour with screen off in Ultra-saving mode. Tablet will not go into deep sleep.

With dock plugged in, after 2 hours, battery 0%. It's incredible...Am I the only onw in this forum having this trouble? It's rom related or not? I tried Cromix 7 and stock deodexed and it's the same...
Till one month ago everything was fine and my tablet lasted even one week in idle!!!
Can you help me please?

I noticed another bad issue. When I swipe down from the rop of the screen to show the notification bar, sometimes it doesn't show and sometimes if I tap on the setting or on the shortcut symbols, the doesn't work! So I can't turn on the wi-fi, ore the auto-sync and so on, beacuse the tap is not working....it happens only on the top of the screen: if I tap on the "cancel" notification button, it work... Am I the only one? Please, help!!!!

I have the same issue, i think is some Google app that is causing this mess.

I install Cromix from scratch and If i dont update Gapps battery drain its only 1% per hour.

----------------------------
Update 1:
All seems to be related with some called "pkg_move_lock" on android os process with more than 1259 wakelocks.

Inyeresting. And if you update Gapps, the dran starts?
Here Wakelock detector reports Google Search, Gmail etc with the most wakelocks too.
I'm going to run a few more cycles on this rom, then flash CROMi-X back and test that setup.

Thanks for running these tests.

I've noticed similar drain problems with my tablet starting a week ago, and from Power Management stats it looked like Google Play Services was the culprit, but after turning off auto-updating and location services, a drain sometimes occurs from some other Google service like Google Account Manager.

I tried the gservicefix app, but that may be a scam, so I uninstalled it, even though it appeared to work.

I should note that the issue may be complicated by a separate dock problem. About two months ago my dock exhibited similar behaviour to what you have noted -- when mated with the tablet, the tablet would be charged too early, when the battery reached maybe 80% instead of the usual 70%, and both the dock and tablet would end up completely drained if left together. I suspect there is a hardware problem with the dock.

I am having similar battery drain issues, too. I went back to chromi and the problem persisted. Now I am back on this Rom again. Definitely something that keeps my table awake and thus drain the battery, sometimes about 5% per hour with the screen off. I too suspect Google apps. Btw, I have no dock.
