Install Gboard, enable in Keyboard Settings.

Latest release indeed solved lot of small issues, and is doing better battery-wise.

The only leftover issue is the touchscreen being touched while one talks on the phone.

In other words, i believe the touchscreen should be disabled once the proximity sensor senses one's face, but it's is not, and the face touch keeps pressing all sorts of buttons , even though the screen is off (including airplane mode sometime )


Apart from that, all good. Congratulations for the excellent work.

I am very happy with crDroid but i found an audio issue (v 7.10) .
After playing audio like youtube or music, system speaker fail to produce any further sound for media or call, until device is rebooted, but it fix temporarily.
Audio switch after a while only to earpiece, even if is not plugged.
Any solution? Thanks

p.s. clean flash of course, 3 time.

Hello, my phone has been downloading what it called software updates but it's been 8.7 GB already. It completely drained my mobile data (it doesn't care whether its wifi or data) and still isn't stopping. What is going on? (I am on crDroid 7.7)

Hello! I'm using this rom for a couple of days now; realy happy with it! tough i think i found two issues.

1. When i connect the phone via USB to my laptop, and set the modus on file transfer, the phone reboots.
2. Sometimes, wifi is loosing its connection and tries to reconnect all the time. After reboot the connection is stable.

Also one extra question not specific for this rom: Is it possible to remove the message on boot that the bootloader is unlocked and you have to press the power button to start android?

What do you mean by "vendor_altF4.zip" ?

My /vendor directory is empty. Do I need vendor_altF4.zip at all and where do I get it?

I unlocked the bootloader and installed TWRP. I do not want to go back to Samsung stock ROM. Never. I just want crDroid!

What steps can I skip?
