You can check in the recovery under /data/system-update if the rom is been downloaded, or you can manually download it here. Ota don't works this time.
/data/system_updates is empty, the same as /data/ota and /data/ota_package. If I download it manually, should I just flash it without wiping anything?
I have a problem with the rom in all its versions, I have been using it for a year, I wanted to know if the same error happens to you. The screen stays on and never turns off, I have to restart for the automatic disconnection to work. I have noticed that it tends to happen sometimes after using the mobile while charging.
All the best!
forgive me for my english
If you check the official download page (green area), you can see that there is a "nightly build" dated August 5. This suggests that there will be a future "official" update soon.
Not for Mi 8 (dipper)....other cell but not dipper....If you check the official download page (green area), you can see that there is a "nightly build" dated August 5. This suggests that there will be a future "official" update soon.
Sorry, I'm not blaming you ! Google is becoming increasingly fussy about the security of rooted phones. Our Mi 8's are at the end of their life but work really well under your build. This problem was not present after the last Evolution X update made in July, so it is indeed one of the last Pay updates that causes the situation.
