i'm using the rom since three month and it is great. but since a week i have two major issues:

1) android system is draining my battery. the phone has no deep sleep. what can i do?

2) my first thought to solve problem 1 was to wipe cache. but twrp is requesting a password. but I don't have a password set?? i have already tried to set a password but it does not work in twrp either.

what can I do?

Disable extra apps or enble restricted apps problem ll be fix

thanks, i followed the video but com.google.android.gms is still causing a battery drain. how do i get rid of that?

Its inbuilt apps sorry sir u can't disable... Also u can't disable by adb otg apk bcz adb otg not working in this coustom rom

but why did it work for month and now it drains the battery? the cpu is most of the time at 300mhz.

and how can i get data access in twrp again?

Sir i checked now com.google.android.gms it's Google play service u can disable it but without it u can't run some apps....

Hmm u r8...... Battery drains in all custom rom.. so i go back stock rom 9.0.11
Now phones sot 4:30hrs

let me guess....under settings/battery/battery usage is "mobile network" on the first position.

Not exactly...Google Play Services is on top.

I didn't change anything, no new apps installed, only a few updates within the last days...business as usual, but with an extreme battery drain.

2nd mobile se stock rom install kiya..
(using bugjaeger apk)

Hey team,

I can't say that I have this problem now but I did notice unusual battery drain a few builds back - once again, seemingly out of nowhere.
To the point that I actually thought my battery was physically shot and I actually bought a new battery (though I didn't fit it yet)
A clean flash of the 2nd last ROM build fixed it though and I'm getting expected SOT and battery life in general right now.

May I suggest NapTime / Servicely to help with the battery drain? Maybe Google services are recently causing abnormal wake locks and/or heavy service abuse??

And several of us will have to post BetterBattery (or something similar) stats so that we get to the bottom of this battery life issue.

My 2 cents... Hope it helps.

twrp cant decrypt data on A12 yet, you either have to wait for teamwin to implement A12 decryption or loose all your data once and disable forceencrypt.

So if i going cancel to enter password and then going in to format and install rom i can't?
