Won't suggest that either. Better use the same recovery coming in ROM. It will help you upgrade easily. Trust me have been user of CWM Recovery => Philipe Touch Recovery => Carliv Touch Recovery => TWRP for 4-5 Years => Now LOS Recovery.

This is the generations of Android I have used till date and therefore changes of recovery and devices accordingly. Better we adapt for it, is the easiest to move.

Although, I would like to understand any specific reason you want to use TWRP in 7T ?

U can reflash twrp.img using "fastboot flash recovery twrp.img" after sideloading rom.zip

As You All may not Know, We Lost Vladimir (@SVB_22) due to COVID-19, in the beginning of new year 2022.

He was a Great Dev of Team Xtended and also a teacher n guide to many Devs out there. We were privileged enough that he was with us and helping us in the community work we do for Open Source Community.

I must be really stupid, or rooting and installing custom roms has changed so much since I last did it (Device HTC Desire 4G, Galaxy S3 / note 3/4)

I downloaded the link provided (The tribute to VladimirS) and extract it, and idk what to do with the files. I've rooted and installed custom roms before... but this is alien to me. Is there an app I need for my PC? I looked into Magisk Manager, but haven't put it on my phone yet.

So I was finally able to install this ROM, I first did the Global conversion with MSM and unlocked my bootloader, and now I've flashed this ROM.

It's nice, but my battery life is terrible. Phone sitting overnight idling has lost 40% or so battery, same apps and stuff I had on it before I installed this ROM.

Did I do something wrong?

Hi, did stock OOS camera come with this rom or did you install it separately? I'm on a different custom rom (derp) and would love to have the stock cam.
