Issue:

Steps before issue occured:
I followed the installation instructions to the letter. Coming from stock A11 latest update and used latest XTended image (14-Jan-22), no root and no magisk. After installing the rom, I installed all my apps from my google account and setup google pay. At some point after Play Store was stuck saying that its installing apps so i forced closed it and reopened it.

Could not find similar issue in the thread. Let me know if i can do further troubleshooting steps to find the root of the issue.

Edit1: Before, it was throwing the error every 4 minutes or so. After a restart, it stopped showing the error. I will update here if it starts again and include Logcat.

Edit2: It did it again. I am attaching the logcat (error timestamp 01-26 17:36:18.113 28322:28402)

Hey Guys might be dumb question, but with this rom or any rom will the oneplus auto dimming feature actually work?

At least with the latest version 14-Jan, the auto dimming function is there but does not work well. I am using manual brightness.

How to ROOT without TWRP ?

• Patch boot image (grab from ROM zip ) in Magisk manager,
• Connect your phone to PC
• Reboot to bootloader and run this command:

 fastboot boot magisk_patched.img

• Don't flash boot image
• Install Magisk manager and select option Install > Direct install
• Reboot & yeah you got ROOT.

Did anyone manage to make tap to pay work? The apps (Google Pay and my bank app) both install ok and are setup ok but nothing happens when i put my phone over a payment terminal. Any recommendations?

Sound 2 graphical glitches.
1) When quick toggles are set to 2 columns, when expanding them, the 3rd row appears later (see video)
2) When unlocking with fingerprint, quick settings panel appears for a while

Can this ROM do call recording and/or screen recording? If it can call record, is it just the crummy dialer feature, with no ability to touch the file (to send via email, etc)? Are 3rd party call recording apps working with it?

I only ask because I have to record all my calls for work. Thanks!

He was a Great Dev of Team Xtended and also a teacher n guide to many Devs out there. We were privileged enough that he was with us and helping us in the community work we do for Open Source Community.
