You lose L1 just by unlocking your bootloader.

It depends on which OOS version you unlock bootloader on. I use OOS11 then installed otas

I did precisely that this morning. I MSMed back to OOS11, unlocked, and OTA all the way to OOS13. Still sitting at L3.

From OOS11 when just unlocked, you should try magisk safetynet fix
ensure it bring L1
than proceede to update

Yeah, I didn't use Magisk until I was all the way up to OOS13.

You need just apply safetynet fix on oos11
once you update to A12 or A13 you don't need magisk
just apply on A11 to get it on next

I'm not quite sure what that means, but I'll try rooting 11 first and seeing what happens as I upgrade to 13.

It seems that
getting L1 on A11 (even with root and module) somehow it is persisted on update (if the rom recognize it)
no one can grant it to happend, but getting L1 attestation on A11 increase your chances

Just flashed the ROM, looks nice. Coming from the lineageos. But only one problem! Anyone else having trouble on a OnePlus 9 with the fingerprint on the unlock screen. It works in my bank app, in my passwords app. But not on my lockscreen to unlock the device. Nor the face recognition. I only can unlock through a pincode. Searching google i don't get any correct answer. Hope someone can help.

I have no problem to unlock screen with finger print.
