Thanks Sam. I'm running the A7 V2 port and am thinking of upgrading to V3. I was just wondering how bad the echo in calls is with A7 V3 ROM.

It is present but usable, it may vary depending on your exact model.
Just an update on battery life, despite the increased performance and AOD working on this rom, the battery life seems slightly better, i can get 2 days on full charge.

I also just discovered another bug, if an app requests to use biometric authentication (fingerprint or face) the app crashes.
@Astrako I tried the fix from the V2 rom, but it didn't work. Is there any way to get around this issue.

Other than that, an excellent rom

Thanks for your reply Sam. I've just bought a second A3 2017 (SM-A320FL) and will install the A7 V3 ROM on it to test. I noticed an issue with apps requesting fingerprint confirmation when usign the S20 ROM, but the apps didn't crash.
I've also heard that the echo in calls is a common problem with a lot of Samsung phones and is due to the top mounted nosie cancelling mic. One post suggested placing a small piece of adhesive tape over the hole for the mic as a possible fix.

Thank you for the work. The performance is much better than the stock android 8.0 ROM. Generally very good. Only one small thing as mentioned above, the 3rd party apps are unable to use the fingerprint sensor. I tried two bank apps. The first one crashes when I am trying to use the fingerprint sensor as an authentication. The other one says "No fingerprint scanner was found on this device".

In overall, this ROM is awesome.

And one interesting thing about fingerprint sensor. I can't install Revolut app from from Google Play store because my phone with your ROM "is not compatible". When I install Revolut app from apkmirror, Revolut is able to use fingerprint sensor. It is the only 3rd party app which I found is able to use fingerprint sensor.

Once Again thank you for your continued amazing updates for this device. Once again you have managed to improve on excellence, the UI updates are great. Performance and battery life are excellent (about the same as V3.0) , much faster than stock. While it is not a feature that i use very often, it is nice to have NFC working again. It also seems to have fixed some Bluetooth pairing issues i was having.

I have encountered a few very minor bugs on my SM-A320Y (on both V3 and V4).
The most problematic is if the phone is turned off while charging (or charging is started when the phone is powered off), it gets frozen on the battery indicator animation which itself is stuck (icon will persist when power cable is unplugged while turned off) , when this happens the phone will not power on by pressing the power button. The phone has to be force restarted by pushing power up and volume down before it will respond. (this doesn't happen during restart)

Other more minor bugs (some have already been reported) are:
- Camera app (when ratio setting is changed to 9:16 the options icons / buttons don't move out to the sides of the screen)
- fingerprint sensor doesn't work for apps (but works great for sign in - much faster than stock)
- an error pops up when both fingerprint and face login are enabled
- microphone echo in calls

Once again thank you @Astrako for all your work on this device.

This feature is called offline charging btw, and it's problematic on custom ROMs.

This is working as intended - when camera switches to 16:9, it will always look like that(even in stock) - after all, your phone is already 16:9, so not doing it that way would look uglier than if the buttons hovered over the camera view.

- fingerprint sensor doesn't work for apps (but works great for sign in - much faster than stock)

It's working after flash but phone crash randomly and that should not happen and camera doesn't work (whatsapp build-in cam works fine)

  Only usability problem for me - I was very used to it - is the impossibility to use fingerprints to authorize apps instead of passwords: could it be fixed or is it impossible for some kind of issue?
