I'm on the version from Nov. 16th and am unable to upgrade to any more recent version. TWRP shows an error message but just for a blink and then goes to the TWRP main screen so I'm unable to get an error message.
Reading some of these posts, it seems you are required to update TWRP to version 3.2.3. However, if I do that and boot into TWRP, I'm not asked for the encryption password and thus the partitions cannot be read and just show garbage. I tried the TWRP version from codeworkx (
https://forum.xda-developers.com/on...overy-twrp-3-2-1-0-oreo-oxygenos-5-0-t3725723) as well as the official version (
https://twrp.me/oneplus/oneplus5.html).
How can I update to a more recent version?
How can I fix the encryption issue of TWRP 3.2.3 without downgrading?
