[ROM][A5010 | dumpling][8.1.X][OFFICIAL] LineageOS 15.1 (Oreo) for Oneplus 5T

Hey all,
I just got my new 5t yesterday and am happy to see so much going on here.
Coming straight from OOS 4.7.6, I unlocked, wiped, flashed.
Apparently, I should have installed an experimental of OOS 5 before, since battery life is minimum and fingerprint sensor not working at all. Any suggestions on how to tackle that problem the easiest way?
Install Oreo beta 1 first?

Similar question. I'm on OOS Oreo Beta 1, would I be able to flash this ROM and restore data? I'm using codewordx unified TWRP. Thanks in advance.
Yeah, install OOS Oreo Beta first because that includes the latest firmware, that's as per the OP "HOW TO INSTALL LINEAGEOS
- Make sure your phone is running Oreo firmware (from OxygenOS 5.0)" you should be okay once you done that.
Might work but not recommended. But probably only if not encrypted.

Haven't tried this myself so may or may not work but good luck. Please let us know how you get on.
Applied, returned successful flashing in TWRP, but I doubt it. Baseband still has an 4.7 in it, and still no fingerprint reader etc. Will go back to OOS, before I return.
So if i Want to install a 8.1 (LOS) or Oreo beta OOS (8.0) I have to wipe everything. But does It format internal Storage ?
OOS 4 to OOS 5 has to work.
OOS to Lineage will never be officially supported. Official builds will force you to do a wipe.
Wiping will preserve internal storage.
Formating kills everything.

While we have no issues with people using supersu/magisk/xposed/custom kernels/etc, we can't provide support for users who have them installed.

HOW TO INSTALL LINEAGEOS
- Make sure your phone is running Oreo firmware (from OxygenOS 5.0)
- Remove custom encryption pins/passwords else decryption will fail!
- Download the LineageOS zip(s). (see Downloads)
- Copy the LineageOS zip to internal sdcard.
- Unlock bootloader and install TWRP.
- Boot into TWRP.
- Perform a backup of your current ROM. (Optional)
- RECOMMENDED: Do a factory reset! No support if you didn't!
- Flash LineageOS.
- Optional: Install the Google Apps addon package. (see Downloads)
- Reboot
HOW TO UPDATE LINEAGEOS (15.1 -> 15.1)
- Download the LineageOS zip(s). (see Downloads)
- Copy the LineageOS zip to internal sdcard.
- Flash LineageOS.
- Reboot

Yes, i am one of the Lineage OnePlus5(T) maintainers and this is what you will get, when official nightlies are starting.
Only difference though is, that i am building with "sdclang", official build servers build using the default toolchain.

- Your device MUST have a working vendor partition (you need to flash beta11 stock rom and boot it at least once)
- This rom will NOT create a vendor partition if it doesn't exist. It will fail to flash!
- Didn't test much so some stuff might be broken, need feedback
