Unfortunately this roms lags a lot at my phone. Furthermore Phone is getting very warm.

I had lots of problems with Win7 and rsd lite; in the mean time battery got depleted and i was unable to flash.. and had to do the dangerous trick of the other thread using another usb cable to short it with the battery.... follow every step of the way because a single mistake can mess things a lot and i recommend flashing with 50% battery or more, because if it gets depleted it wont charge neither let you flash!

Me TOO, works like charm. I deleted some more Moto Stuff which wasn't needed, OC to 1ghz, and using Launcher Pro. So smooth, so fast, so nice.

No hot battery, nothing.

Delete launcher pro

hi,

I would like to delete launcher pro wich is the default home in this rom, but i can't.
I tried switch home, homedefault and other apps but i don't manage to delete the default home and go back to motoblur home.

Is there any way to uninstall launcherpro in this rom ? update.zip or command line ?

I installed everything but my rom lags a bit. If Wipe (wipe all? Data and cache?) Can I reboot the phone normally?
Should I wipe in goapk system recovery? Could you teach me because the phone is ok but not smooth. Thanks.

flashing problem

Hi. I did step by step, but at the point where I have to flash the "boot+devtree sbf" rsdlite fail to flash the device. Help please.

I did it. I could not do it on my pc, but on laptop everything was fine . I like the ROM, only cannot import contacts from sd card. not big deal. thanks

Well done, but how about noobs?

I recently switched to android on my defy, (white version, UK, JRDNEM-U3-2.21.0, Unlocked). BUT NO FLASH JUST LIKE MY iPHONE.
The only reason I am interested in flashing, is that I am addicted to it, I mean aside from the need for flash.
I wanna thank everubody who puts so much time aand effort to enlighten dumbs like me.
Is there any possibility that anybody can film their flashing procedure through out so it would be a little easier for people like me to follow. What does that mean that the whole procedure is backward.
Y did you put it in backward order, and why did you refer us to completely different tutorial on page 2?
as I said one video tutorial works a whole book.

Nice try, thanks, I flashed it like a charm everything worked with small issues and one more serious :

-When booting first time, if you choose Motoblur, you can't escape and use Motoblur things like originally, so I took LauncherPro which is awesome and smooth.

-Some APN are missing, I am using a MVNO and mine in france was missing (easy to fix looking around on Internet)

-Don't see any Adlxmod splash ...

-More Serious, now everything (I tested ) work but the Gallery and from time to time settings menu, the phone hangs on and then the screen turn black without allowing me to do anything...(In certain tries, I heard the voice command asking me to say something huhhhh)
Gallery or Gallery 3D is working one out of ten times and when it sticks, I have to pull out the battery...

Any idea or recommendation ?
