Oh really... so then the apps themselves haven't updated I guess? Sorry, I thought it was a market issue, not an app issue.

(FIXED)Switching locale broken

Well, one more bug to report.

I don't know if anyone here has changed their locale in Language & Keyboard settings, but when I did from czech to english-us, some lockscreen text and names of some applications in the app drawer remained czech. Annoying a bit, but doesn't interfere with normal use.

Nevermind, problems went away after cold reboot.

I think is a an issue with 2.3.5 because I installed the beast ROM which is by the same developer which is based on 2.3.4 and there are no issues with the market and all my apps restore and install properly.

I love the green theme versus the all blue one but I have to be able to get my apps from the market. Guess I will run the beast until the issue is resolved, nice ROM just the market issue is a major one for me.

I came from directly from beastly rom, unfortunately I've found the blue theme and transparency annoying and low contrast between fonts and background very problematic.
Well, if compatibility issues get solved within few days I'll stick with the rom until CM7 shows up.

Can't stand the bloody sense and the bloatware.

The text inside of the blue battery circle is not showing up, I assume it should be white? It makes it hard to know what percentage you have left.

Is there something available I can flash (theme) that just shows the percentage of battery life left in the status bar?

I also noticed the black text in some of the sub menus is very faint and hard to read, just thought I would pass it along.

I have been using this as my daily driver for the past two days with minor issues I can live with, nice ROM, nice work folks.

Ahhhhh ehhhh i think i dont have percentage on my rom? I think i wouldnt be so idiot to have it black so u all cant see it.


Did u confused this rom with the beast cuss only the beast has black sub menus

I'm experiencing a few problems installing certain apps, and was wondering if anyone else was (and why this is happening). I've wiped and reinstalled several times, and tried to restore them from Titanium Backup, from their APKs, and from the market. All failed.

I cant install:

It's because the ROM is based on the leaked 2.3.5 GB some of the apps are not updated and recognized in the market on devices running 2.3.5 I'm using the InsertCoin ROM and he changed the footprint of the ROM to show the market that your device is running 2.3.4 but its actually 2.3.5 I'm now able to use my apps ie Beejive, Bank Of America, Wells Fargo and etc.

Android apps work up, though. (Anything written for 1.5 will run on 1.5+, anything for 2.1 runs on 2.1+) That wouldn't explain why I couldn't install them from their apks, or from titanium backup.

Well, regardless, you said the issue was fixed by switching ROMs. I guess I could do that.

Yes, I have asked Bad from InsertCoin and he has had to do it to both the 2.3.4 and 2.3.5 because it had them out before the official ROM came out and it had to change the build prop to 2.3.4 and it allows us to download all apps from the market earlier today I was having issues with trying to download apps for instance Beejive and Bank Of America were not showing up and even though I had them saved in my Titanium Backup they still would not install and all I got was errors when trying to download. I switched to InsertCoin which is also based off the 2.3.5 leak and it allowed me to download all my apps I had 71 apps and 32 would not install when running Senseless Extreme 3.1 can't wait for it to fixed and then I will be back in a heart beat.

Well changing the build.prop didn't work for me, it was worth a try.

build.prop and VM/ram tweaks

Hi Melvin,
I think build.prop and the init.d foldercould do with some cleanup. There are quite a few duplicate entries in build.prop, and multiple init.d scripts that do the same thing. There are three VM tweaks and three low memory tweaks in init.d.

On another note, the leaked 2.3.5 base is working well for me. Keep up the good work, and thanks.

I havent flashed this ROM yet but I think its dope! Definitely will be trying it out soon.
